CARTESI: A LAYER-2 FRAMEWORK FOR SCALABLE DECENTRALIZED APPS
INTRODUCTION
Good day to you all, I welcome you once more. In a short while I'll be introducing to us a new project know as CARTESI, but firstly, an introduction of what is meant will be put forward.
It is known that the mechanisms in which networks do maintain decentralized consensus over a shared state exist to be public blockchain, ideally as such a payment platform is is in place among diverse data form, as this payment system mentioned appears to be developed on decentralized consensus. The decentralized consensus operates as a result of incentives provided by the payment system, of which the two work accordingly for different other purposes in d network system.
CARTESI OVERVIEW
Cartesi Platform exist as a layer-2 platform for scalable decentralized applications (dApps) creation and deployment. In its decentralized applications, both the off chain and blockchain components can be found, where the platform nodes that represents the interest of each of the decentralized applications user is where the off chain components operates, also it provides its developers with reproducible machines for verifiable computations to be run on much bigger scales.
Mentioning another feature, it is known that within the blockchain, a Cartesi DApp can point out reproducible off-chain computations to be carried out over an enormous amounts of off-chain data to be processed, and as well can automatically follow these specifications to perform the computations totally off-chain. Cartesi Nodes can submit, dispute and also verify results submitted by others on the instructions given by decentralized applications developers.
DAPPS GAME ON CARTESI (CREEPTS)
Early this year, Cartesi platform opened the Github repositories of the first DApp game on its network which is known as Creepts.
Creepts is developed as the first fully decentralized tower defense tournament game, developed of the platform's general-purpose computing Layer-2 solution for created for blockchains.
