#Cartoon-off contest entry! - Link starts his adventure!

Hey everyone!

This week I want to try off #cartoon-off contest for comic creators :D! You know I'm a big promoter of anything comic related, so learning that there are new contests popping up specially catered to comic artists really gives me the hype!!

I started just drawing the first part of the game where an old man gives Link a sword... then I wasn't really sure what to do after that, but wanted to practice a little the hyper-realism technique where you over emphasize or give much more detail to something to make it look funnier. This last frame resembles a little to "handsome squidward" so you can call him "handsome Link" hahaha. If you haven't tried this technique you should try it out, although it's a little more complicated for those who are still learning o draw (like me hehe).

Also for this comic I used a tool that helped me color out the comic waaaaaay faster than usual. I'm still learning how to use it and at the end added some color the old way, that's why the text bubbles are badly colored haha... mostly because I was feeling tired at that point.
