Today the Cassini probe will be transmitting images back to Earth for the last time.

The north pole of Enceladus is as old as the Solar System itself and heavily cratered.

The south pole, on the other hand, is an entirely different matter. It shows signs of intense geological activity that sprays jets of gas and tiny particles from it's 'tiger stripe' fractures.

Why?

What causes the jets to erupt?

The result of an impact?

What’s below the surface?

Is there life on Enceladus?!
