Wildenstein Castle on the upper Danube

This article presents one of the best preserved castles in Germany. In a beautiful location, 200 meters above the upper Danube, it juts out from the limestone cliffs as if newly built. The journey via Leibertingen between Hausen and Beuron is no problem by car, everything is well signposted and you should be able to get there easily with the navigation system. On foot from Beuron it is a hike of several hours, but it is also doable. As a reward for the effort, it takes your breath away when you cross the bridge to the castle.
