howdy sir krazzytrukker! What's going on? I read an article yesterday about the administration meeting with the top grocery chains and truckers union. The military and national guard will be making sure the food supply chain keeps running including military escorts for the trucks if it gets bad!

She is only going in on Tuesday / Thursday as of now. And working from home other 3 days. Lucky Bum.
I am up here in Rock Hill, SC. Trying to Cherry Pick a good. Load. Waiting to see if I get a reply on a load that posted kinda late. Landstar Agent out of Illinois. I texted Her about it. Might have to wait till morning for a reply....?
I want to get to FLA. just in case they lock everything down. Maybe I can get in with FEMA and run some high dollar gov emergency supplies. I did that many years ago for some hurricanes.

Howdy sir krazzytrukker! Good to hear from you, I was wondering if you went back out. Are there less loads available yet? I mean with so many industries shutting down they won't need the normal orders and supplies. FEMA gig sounds good.
Def seeing weird behavior on load board. Not as much as i would have thought tho.
My fear is getting stuck with a load i can not deliver.
Oh that's right...a load where the delivery destination shuts down because things are changing fast. I reckon all the food distribution lines have their own trucks. Those aren't getting shut down if they're going to grocery stores.
Is the traffic on the highways lighter? That would be one good thing to come out of this.

Got home about 4 pm. But I do not get on the intranets on any schedule. Just when I feel like it.

So My trip down from Rock Hill SC. Was very strange. It was a shitty broker load. Shipper held Me up 5+ hrs. And that made making the delivery on time 2 day at noon difficult.
Made it to √ in with 3 min to spare. I do not like driving fast, and not having time to stop for a bathroom / food-drink break.
The trip was very weird. The 200+ miles this morn, only saw 2 police in 4 hours. Zero DOT, Zero school buses or zones. Almost no traffic. And the delivery was a ghost town. The normally busy Dollar General Dist Center was running at 1/4 of the normal truck traffic.
I am gonna stay here for awhile. Maybe do a short haul or 2 next week.

Oh, very interesting sir krazzytrukker! I guess people are staying home then, that's good news for them. I'm always home anyway but I'm sure not worried about a silly little virus but Mrs. J is forced to work as you know. she ain't worried about the silly little thing either. lol.
