The theme of this week's contest is: “Share and comment on a landscape.”
This week's contest consists of sharing and commenting with a text of at least 70 words on a single image of a landscape that you like the most.
Share and comment on your image. I particularly like the river, the sea, the plains, the mountains, the sky, the stars, I would gladly share my image of the landscape in some of these beautiful images.
When I have visited the plains I always take photos of the livestock, crops and people who live near the rivers. It excites me to see those images over time, and to think about the moment I was there, contemplating those landscapes.
I invite you to share your unique image and also give us a text of at least 70 words to delight us with your memories. Don't forget to leave the hashtags. Also, I'll wait for you in the comments later. Get into other users' texts and participate.

This is the last landscape I made with soft pastels. A few old, dry, crumbled crayons that were present at the painting class and that no one uses.
It's not painting, of course, but simply using crayons on paper. You have to rub the colors together vigorously until a soft glow appears and the colors cover the paper and blend together. That hard rubbing, by the way, is quite a challenge. I already told the teacher I'm injuring my shoulder from it. Still, I took those crayons home for the second time, along with pastel pencils, which, incidentally, work very differently from the crayons.
To be honest, I'm not at all interested in drawing or painting landscapes, but the truth is that I don't have much time for what I actually want to learn. So I'm trying out more different techniques just to get some work done. Unfortunately, I don't have time for larger projects right now.
When I have more time, I want to practice more portrait drawing, or at least something derived from it. To be honest, I expected to have tons of time these past three months, but unfortunately, that hasn't been the case (my own fault). But seriously, I'm starting again on Sunday (LOL).
BTW, if I were to draw a landscape, I think I'd sooner do mountains or a volcano. I think that's what @suryati1 always drew in school.

By the way: years ago I sat at the table and didn't know what to draw. I just let the pencil do it's job. I always ended up with mountains in the distance and a girl in the front standing on the top of a rock or some part of a mountain.

I think it's great that you are spending time perfecting painting techniques.
I really like nature landscapes but I think they are complicated to do because of their tones.
I hope you can really start again on Sunday.
This photo has beautiful tones, I couldn't imitate it. I have no knowledge about painting or drawing, so it is not something that attracts me.
I want that after I finish making so many arrangements at home that I can go out to do some activity that allows me to distract myself from work.
If it comes to art I doubt colour matters but still it's pisdible to mix with soft pastels which are crayons by layering and next rubbing it out. I agree with you that realistic paintings aren't easy but what's the point of copying if you can take a photo?
I hope you find something soon, a hobby outside the house to distract your mind and which helps to relax.

I haven't heard from the beach house again. I think they took it away from me. I don't have a vehicle to go and public transportation leaves me very far from home. The place is very wild right now, there are many criminals loose everywhere.
For now I have gone out to buy substrate and fertilizer for my plants, so I have something to occupy my mind again, with planting and transplanting.
Who knows the house is still there and waits and even criminals lost there interest since in cities is more to gain.
You are lucky you can plant through the year. I intended to plant some seeds pressed in paper provided by the city during the festival but next it started freezing and now I am too tired to remove the tiles. ☹️

The feeling of beauty and coolness is felt when looking at the green color. Especially when visiting any lawn or garden. We also went for a visit to Jinnah Garden. There were many such doors. Some people were standing in these doors and taking pictures. Whenever we go for a walk, there is something new to see every time. It is indeed a beautiful place for wanderers. Well, there are many places worth visiting in Lahore, but among the natural places, Bagh Jinnah ranks first.

This garden is actually decorated with beauty, every plant and every point is decorated as if special effort is being made on it. That is why this garden is called Jinnah Garden because the founder of our country is called Jinnah. That is why this beautiful garden is called Jinnah's Garden and people often visit here for tourism and sightseeing.
Wow, it is a park dedicated to the founder of his country, everything else must be very beautiful there. Someday I would like to see a full documentary about that park.

It's a nice few but nature also means accepting vulcans, earthquakes, storms, disasters. If it comes to me I find it intruiging as well.
You are absolutely right, nature is very wide, but who would like to photograph an image after an earthquake, or a tornado disaster to enjoy the image?
I wouldn't ask anyone, at least in this contest, to share images of natural disasters with me.
Life itself brings its own ugly realities, I just want us to enjoy the beauty of life not the disaster.
Your point is true but I would share it after a natural disaster has given new life over the years.
It is very true, nature has also shown us how negative and dangerous it can be, and we must accept it.
We must be cautious and respect it in all its facets.

The mountains truly offer unparalleled beauty. My husband and I enjoyed the mountain views while taking the kids on vacation, a rare experience for us.
This time, we chose a mountainous area where we could see the mist descend. In the morning, many animals are kept here, including turkeys, rabbits, and several others. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenery, as well as the surrounding plantations of coffee, chayote, avocado, marquisa, and many other vegetables.
Many visitors come from various regions to enjoy the scenery and spend time with their beloved families. There are also food stalls here, although the prices are significantly higher than those found outside.

Kami membawa jaket untuk mengantisipasi hawa dingin cuma saat berada di tempat wisata ini semuanya kami tinggalkan di mobil,
Diantara kami yang paling tidak tahan dingin adalah suamiku 🤭 bahkan kalau malam dia sering mengaduh sakit gigi karena hawanya yang menusuk ke tulang-tulang katanya.
Anak-anak kuberikan jaket dan memakai kaos kaki kalau malam serta selimut tebal sudah saya siapkan, kami tidur dengan keadaan yang sangat dingin dan ini kali pertama kami rasakan, walaupun hanya dua malam kami menginap namun kesannya sungguh sangat luar biasa.
Dimana-mana tempat wisata selalu menjual makanan dengan harga yang sangat mahal apalagi tempat wisata ini tidak memperbolehkan membawa makanan dari luar.

I like landscapes that have several elements: a beautiful sunset, a sky covered with clouds that somehow adorn it, the water of the sea or a lake, and nature; all of this inspires tranquility and invites you to relax.
When I think about everything artificial intelligence has created and will continue to create, I can't help but analyze how it's changing this world. These transformations are happening at breakneck speed, and we humans are left watching. In fact, we're creating something that will replace us. They already paint pictures, even better than an artist, but I don't think they can recreate a scene like this in the same way, with the essence of the sunset that only a supreme being can recreate.

Almost everyone loves nature. Because the creation of man is a sign of nature's love. And man loves everything created by his creator in the same way that he loves himself. How many beautiful and colorful scenes can be seen in the sky. It depends on a person's imagination. Some people have a romantic personality, so they always see the clouds flying in the sky as charming and full of love. While some have a meandering nature, they are usually seen tearing through the clouds. Similarly, some people are simple-minded, and they see flowers and gardens in the clouds of the sky. The meeting of the sky and the earth is a boundary where rivers and seas are found in between. And both these places offer a beautiful view. I also love nature scenes. And very interested in your post and picture.
Interesting comment, I agree. Each individual sees shapes in the clouds according to their own perspective , while one person sees a map, another sees the shape of an animal. Human nature emphasizes the divine.
Nature is so vast in its beauty. Contemplation of the clouds, the sky, the sea, always brings to our mind a kind of rest, relaxation. For some it is a time of romance and for others it is just contemplating the wonder of the universe.

Where did you take that image, what city is it focusing on? the shadow of the city, the water like a lake in the center and the beautiful blue sky with its touch of cotton sweetness.

However, I don't think they can create such wonderful landscapes that are so perfect and unique, each with its own incomparable beauty.

While I'm working I listen to the news, they're talking about artificial intelligence. They say that its creators should have plans A, B, and even C, since it's possible that these intelligences could interact with each other, which is quite worrying in my opinion.
Well that won't happen in the nearest future. AI sturns out to e far behind and it's by far not AI as we all seem to believe, not even average. I would say: back to the drawing board.
They even say AI is a bubble and it may collapse. For now it's wheremillions (of printed money) are in invested even without a business plan the word "AI" seems to do the trick.
But hey, AI makes no change in a world where pollution, environment and lack of electricity and money plays a role. 🧐

This is extremely worrying; although AI has made our lives easier, it can also turn against us with its advancements.
I hope that the people in charge of it can maintain control.
Imagining everything spiraling out of control is worrying, and the point is, it can happen.
