Gertu already gave up on hosting contests. It's basically me. I think I'll continue perhaps another contest. Upvotes only or SBI. It doesn't matter how much you reward people mainly join if they bump into you or?
Being online/internet connections are an issue too.
I understand if it comes to investments this isn't the place to be for you.
It looks like that you are the only one left. I have been hoping to rekindle some interest IF STEEM, SBD, and TRX prices would go up significantly but perhaps this will not happen soon.

I can give all kind of suggestions but there's no golden rule how to attract new members. Active ones are even harder. Apparantly, an upvote or leaving a comment is too.
If you ask me most people are not consequent, are not making a habit out of writing, joining and committing. They hope to be noticed but are not willing to invest.
Time is limited, energy, internet and the mood is too.
The value/prices go up a bit. I don't think people care about the interest. They go for the big whale or the steemitcurator...
