SLC S28 Week3 - SteemitTTD - CityBuilder

Assalamualaikum my fellows I hope you will be fine by the grace of Allah.

I am participating in the video game OpenTTD challenge by @sergeyk. I like to play games but I started playing this game for the first time while participating in the challenge. I hope I will learn and showcase my work through this challenge.

🚥 Task 1 🚨

I opened n-ice servers and found out there are 3 citybuilder servers. Only server 6 has one player and other citybuilder servers are empty.

How long the game has been running on the server (you can see this before connecting in the server list)

The game is running for 0 hour and 24 minutes on the server.

Which players are playing, what are their results?

From all the three citybuilder servers I found only this one server where one player was playing the game. That is @joslud.

When I joined the company of this player has value around $82,000. But now the value of the company has increased. He has 154 rail pieces, 80 road pieces, and 24 stations.

Who do you think is experienced and who is not?

There is only one player. He looks experienced with the good management of trains running on single track without collision.

Explore what they transport and with what vehicles. Who do you think will win this game?

He has 2 trains and 6 road vehicles. Both the trains are making good profit. But the 6 road vehciles are in loss. They are not generating profit.

He is using 2 trains to transport coal from coal mine to coal power plant. The distance is not much because mine and power plant is near to each other. There are two coal mines. He picks coal from each coal mine with a separate train and delivers to the powerplant.

He is transporting passengers with passenger buses withing the town. He is using two mail trucks transport mails from one corner of the town to the other.

If no other player joins the ame and this player keeps on buiding his town then this will win easily. But if other users join then the competition can be hard.

What new things did you see that you had not seen before?

According to my experince I have not seen anything new here. In some extreme goal servers I saw very long trains and the construction of the stations was also different. But in this sever everything seems normal to me which I have already seen. The maximum length of the train here is 11 wagons. I have run previously 12 wagons trains.

🚥 Task 2 🚨

I have joined the same citybuilder server to continue my task 2. Now currently we are two players playing here. Joslud is at rank 1 and I am at rank with 0% progress because my transport company is new.

I explored different towns which have less population than 800. I chose to develop Tinkleville town. I placed my headquarter in this town. My name displayed below the name of the town.

This is town requires passengers, mails, and coal for the growth.

I run two buses to provide passengers in the town. Later on I started two mail trucks to complete the requirement of the mails in the town. I increased number of stations including bus stations and mail stations. The population of town grew from 774 to 1026.

🚥 Task 3 🚨

At left side the progress is displayed. My progress to reach 4000 population is 26%. I am at rank 1 at the time.

The town has a sawmill. Town required woods for the further growth. I started delivering woods to the town.

I built a train station at the woods. I delivered woods to the sawmill in the town. I used the goods produced by the sawmill and delivered them to town.

As soon as I completed the need of the woods for the town it required goods to be delivered in the town. I provided livestock and corn to the factory and it produced goods.

For the fast production of goods I wanted to provide steel to factory. For this purpose I provided iron ore to steel mill. The steel produced from this mill was given to factory. In this way the production of goods was incraesed.

This is my growth of the town in different times at different rate.

My town has grown from 774 population to 1794. I increased the number of stations within the town. I also run a train to connect two towns to transport passengers and mails. I increased the trucks to deliver livestock to factory. With the passage of time I inctreased everything as it was needed.

It shows ranking of all the transport companies working in this server. My company has completed 44% of goal.

I was going to win the game on this server. But my connection was interrupted and when I joined server again I was not able to join it. I found this is the drawback of these live servers. I tried many times even by retsrating the game but it did not work.
