Is 3Speak Pro-Censorship?
Five things to consider when supporting platforms like 3Speak.
- They used closed source software (this is dangerous), as it is often used to control / brainwash users.
- 3Speak is not a decentralized application (DAPP) , it is a centralized application running on Amazon web services. By supporting AWS (amazon), they support monopolies propped up by large governments.
- They require creator applications and only give them to people with large followings or to creators that promote ponzi schemes within the blockchain.
- They censor all dissent within the platform or any new ideas. (muted me on discord, removed my messages about how they can enable censor resistant content creation)
- They are against Steem's freedom values by forcing closed source software upon their users.
How true is this?

I already left the discord server as I was muted without being given a reason or any way to respond. Thus I cannot produce screenshots. I have of a long reputation within the blockchain you can ask about me I guess. I'm telling the truth here. You could always ask 3speak to screenshot the moderation logs.
screenshots aren't the only proves, they could be facked ! @gray00 is trusted guy, so he say the truth, I also was attacked there and they told me go to dtube and they were very rude to me for no reason !
You are right man, I was attacked as well there just by asking a simple question ''Why I wasn't accepted there despite being deplatformed and demonetized''. They are just building an empire with powerful steemians and people with big audiance from the web.
Thanks for the heads up. Given the business model seems to be little more than a copycat of extant gorilla kings, I don't see the value proposition such presents. Were they providing some open sourcing, censorship resistance, or opportunity no longer available to aspiring vloggers they might generate more economic potential. If what you describe is accurate - and I have no expectation it is not - they're just shadows of the platforms totally dominating the market now.
That's why @dtube is the best hosting platform and noone can compete with it in term of decentralization. It's not only the best app in steem, but the best decentralized video hosting on the web. It's working mor than 2 years, they accept everybody there, not limited for creators, the content is upvoted by regular steemians, they update always the curation team with regular steemians, they could be even fishies or minnows. Now dtube created its own chain and they have testnet, it will be tradble in the future as well. You can earn there not only from creating videos, but from sharing youtube, vimeo and other video hosting platforms.
