I have found that the best way to prevent missing the upvote is to reply from chainbb and wait about 1 minute to touch again chainbb or check steemit. This way i have found it happens less. If i just upvote from chainbb immediately refresh chainbb and right after that go to steemit to check I find that most of the times shows the reply from chainbb without any upvotes. So kinda taking easy on the site does make it work most of the times
