Well hello there. I've just walked through the door and I'm excited for the adventure that awaits me here on Steemit. I've heard interesting things about this community and am curious as to how all this works. I believe I have something of value to offer to the amazing people on here. I like new ideas and happen to have a few of my own. I strongly believe that the people of the world are experiencing a grand shift in our collective psyche. It is happening at lightning speed, though unfortunately we only see it in slow motion. Which can be frustrating. I'm here to join all the likeminded people out there. People that I hope to share many amazing ideas with. I am a strong believer in asking questions and as individuals looking for real change we must first look for ourselves, think for ourselves and decide for ourselves. I operate based on two simple principles: One is that we are all human beings. The other is that if we are not all given equal opportunity to live healthy and happy lives, then something is terribly wrong.

 Why are so many people suffering in a world full of imagination and inventiveness? It just doesn't make sense. Our current level of technology in no way represents what even the average citizen is allowed to experience. In other words, what we are capable of doing is nowhere close to what we are doing. Some people might try and convince you it's just the way it is. That it's always been this way so why do think things will change? What can one person do to bring about real change? Well the first thing any of us can do to begin the journey is to simply ask ourselves why. For example: Why are there homeless people when we as a species know how to build houses? It's seems like a simplified and silly question, but if you answer it honestly you begin to understand that something must be wrong with how things are being done. And that is the first step: to acknowledge first that there is a problem.
