This was the very first piece I had written without knowing what I was going to write about.
It just happened. A strange experience. Has anyone else experienced this?

Today I could see the observer of life in all the things that surround us.
Today I felt the Observer that is separate from everything else. For the first time I truly noticed that everything on this planet, the planet itself and the universe it belongs to is here to observe, witness and experience life from the perspective of who/that which is observing. I felt the togetherness of all things. I could see the space that creates the illusion of separation. The space that allows us to be unique, unlimited and diverse.
I could see consciousness all around me. I noticed the consciousness of a bird flying by. I could feel that it was part of everything that is and yet has the gift of experiencing all that is from it's own preferred and chosen view. Today I realized that all we have to do is find the love in our hearts and let that love guide us towards the experiences we enjoy. It is those experiences, the experiences that guide us to a joy based in love, that we are wanting to find here on earth.
Today's experience is unexplainable in words yet the feeling I have in this moment is so pure, so simple, so easy to understand.
Life is so beautiful. Everything you are looking for is already within you. Your true self, the essence of what you are, has already, all the answers you are looking for. There is no need to figure things out. Just follow your heart. I had forgotten about how to listen to mine for about 20 years. Today I reconnected. Today is a new beginning of something that has already always been.
