Chaos Zero Nightmare [Non-Maintenance] 01/05 (Mon) Patch Notice: Gameplay Fixes and Stability Update
A new non-maintenance patch has been announced for Chaos Zero Nightmare, focusing on fixing several gameplay issues that players have encountered during combat. This update is aimed at improving stability and correcting unintended behavior, rather than introducing new content or balance changes.
One of the key fixes in this patch involves Sereniel’s “Pale Shooting Star” card effect. Previously, some cards activated by this effect did not work correctly in certain situations, leading to inconsistent combat results. With this patch, all cards triggered by Pale Shooting Star should now function as intended, allowing players to rely on the effect during battles.
The update also resolves multiple issues related to Homing Laser and Homing Laser L. In some cases, Homing Laser L would become exhausted even when it still had remaining Exhaust counts, limiting its usefulness. Additionally, the Epiphany effect linked to Homing Laser would sometimes fail to trigger. These problems have now been fixed to ensure proper skill behavior.
Another important correction targets Sands of Time, which was being used abnormally under specific conditions. This unintended behavior has been adjusted to maintain fair and balanced gameplay.
The patch is scheduled to roll out on 01/05 (Monday) between 07:00 and 07:30 UTC and will be applied sequentially. Because this is a non-maintenance patch, players may experience temporary server instability during deployment. After logging in, additional data may download, and restarting the game is recommended if any combat-related errors appear.
