RE: Chess problem 26 / Schachaufgabe 26

in #chess8 years ago

I didn't and those I've asked didn't answer the hard one not to spoil the fun. Don't think we didn't see though your vast deception :P

Rook x a2+,
King takes a2, c1 promote to Knight+,
King a1, Rook a8,
Bishop takes a8, Queen a8+,
knight a3, Queen takes a3+,
King b1, Queen takes b2

Sort:

Good start, but after

  1. ... Rxa2+
  2. Kxa2 c1N+
  3. Ka1

3 . ... Ra8+ is bad because of 4. Na3!

thats easy, then you just casually move the rook, look at the bishop and act surprised. "ohh"

Works every time

Rook x a2+,
King takes a2, c1 promote to Knight+,
King a1, Knight takes b3+,
King a2, Knight back to c1+,

Then either
King a3, Rook a8,
Bishop takes a8, Queen a8

Or
King a1, Bishop b2

That's correct, congrats!
I announced you as winner together with @pompe72 and @afrog .
