Are you a regular spectator? Forget it and watch.. People don't believe it but chess tournaments attract a lot of attention from gamblers. But these are the guys who understand the essence of the game. They can afford to analyze the situation before the match and take a risk.. But I wouldn't recommend it to beginners.
