It is no longer a new thing that love has its autonomous power that comes with it, but I have come to understand that love can only be understood if experienced. Love can be found in every corner of the earth, starting from the one we get from our parents, down to friends and from the Almighty Himself. Most people have come to believe in the perception that "love can surpass all challenges or struggles in life", but honestly am still trying to discover this denotation, so let me leave this one for you all to answer based your perspective. Although this four lettered word called love has the ability to influence your doing either in a positive or negative way.
Now down to the concern of today's discussion, the power of love in chess. We all know that the game of chess entails a lot of hard work that requires time, devotion, ambition, determination and consistent zeal. But have you ever taken time to consider if this chess of ours can also be influenced by other external factors like LOVE.

Based on recent statistics of top Grandmaster like Magnus Carlsen, Levon Aronian, Anish Giri, Sergey Karjakin, they all have someone special who support and cares for them. Like Levon Aronian who has won two world tournament back to back, Chess World Cup and Gibraltar chess festival after his encounter with his lovely spouse, while Magnus Carlsen has won Tata steel with his own woman by his side. Even down to Nigerian chess, top players like FM Fawole John, FM Daniel Anwuli, FM Abimbola Osunfuyi and others, all have a special woman backing them up cause behind every successful man there is also a successful woman. So it is quite visible that love has power in chess and your chess ability. In accordance with FM Daniel Anwuli's words which says that "love promotes your chess while lust demotes your chess". I hope someday I will also find that love and support that will make me a chess champion.
