RE: SEC S20W1/ Painting like a child

in #children-s20w12 months ago

The end result looks great and he did a good job but what I wonder about is why you never taught him at a young age how to draw and paint. My children held a pencil at the age of not even one year old and at the age of 2 I gave them a huge wall in the hallway to draw and paint (making a fresco is cool too). Two hours is indeed not much and I hope you will not restrict his love for art by telling him he can only paint if he studies hard. To be honest it sounds to me that by saying this you also have no faith in the fact one can make a living with art. That saddens me and I made sure my children can and they do even if they need a part time job to pay for what they love to do.

By the way instead of a finger a brush but also a sponge can be used, It has a great effect and goes way faster. We also use a sponge to paint with if it's for bigger surfaces. I am looking forward to your next paintings! A big compliment to your son.

Wow, I am amazed, how do you understand all that is hidden behind the suppressed words? In reality, I don't see either the present or the future in this. It can only be used to keep oneself busy or to stay away from bad thoughts. I have felt it around me. There is no appreciation for the efforts of the artists. Hunger cannot be satiated with praise.

I will also teach my children skills along with education. Thank you very much for liking my son's work. I will share my painting soon.

Have a good day! 🍀❤️

I can keep it short. You pick your answer:

I've been there.

What I don't understand is that you said here that a community for art wouldn't make a chance and you find that a bad thing. At the same time, it feels as if you restrict your children to be artistic. That saddens me.
I did the opposite and I am happy I did because art is the only way feelings can be expressed and painting is one of the methods used (hospitals, mental institutions, prisons. orphanages, kindergarten, elderly care and so on).

A great weekend and I'll read you soon.

I will try to act like you. Because I know you are giving me good advice. I haven't seen you, but you have proven that you are indeed one of those who have a creative and positive thinking.

I always wish happiness for you and your family🤝
