A child's curiosity
A child's curiosity is inspired by my reignited interest in achieving the curiosity I had as a child since I felt it fading away. In the process I appreciate the fact that being happy is heavily influenced by how we satisfy our inner child.
To tell this story effectively, I choose ballpoint pen as my media. The delicate pressure and precision required to create a smooth transition on a child's face, was to enhance the message of how it requires thorough self scrutiny to reignite the inner child in us. The piece took a total of 29 hrs of work that I deem worthy.
It is a ballpoint pen on paper leaning on photorealism and expressionism to tell a universal yet a personal story too.
