How is transportation in China?

in #china8 years ago

Well if you have watched any of my other videos in the past I always mention that I take taxis everywhere for the most part. Compared to the west they are very cheap. My city doesn't have a subway yet otherwise I would use it. So the main method of transportation here is E-bikes. Small electric powered bikes that can take you around quickly and easily. I myself just bought one last Thursday. They are pretty inexpensive too which is great. Mine costed me 1,850.00 RMB (they were asking 2,200.00 RMB but you should always barter as much as possible).

Now driving these can be a bit dangerous. Nobody really checks to make sure they aren't going to hit anybody. So you have to be cautious while driving around here. That goes for cars too. Driving around in China is one of the most chaotic experiences I have encountered. So it is best to just embrace it and understand your surroundings (while still being cautious haha).

Nice! Got yourself a bike. Careful out there :D.

There aren't as many e-bikes where I'm at down here. They have so many public bicycles that everyone seems to whip around on those.

Yea so much more convenient. And its so hot here now.
