A couple of weeks ago, my Pastor at Church asked me if I wanted to do some work for him after the semester at school was over. I told him yes as I am still waiting for the school to respond to my hiring decision for the Production Assistant job.

My Pastor is an interim Pastor of our Church but has a small business doing painting and Handyman stuff full time. He needed someone to work for him and for whatever reason he asked me.

Man do I feel my age!

I have been a student now for about 2 years and because I get a small check every month, I have been blessed enough to not have to have a regular job. Because of that, I have not been as active as I once was, and I have not done heavy labor for some quite a few years.

I will tell you what, today I feel it! I am sore and tired and achy and whiny and everything else!

I spoke with my advisor from the TRIO program today as well. She told me that my application for the Production Assistant job was still under review but they should have an answer this week. I really hope that the school gives me the chance to work. Not only is it in my field, it is not general labor!
