We are Products of Unity!

It is my pleasure to wish all steemians a wonderful and prosperous new year, God has been very wonderful in our life. Here is my first article for the year 2018 titled (We are products of unity).

Unity is the condition of various regions or gatherings being consolidated to frame a solitary nation or association. At the point when there is unity, individuals are in understanding and act together for a specific reason. The word of God from (Amos 3:3) says, "Do two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet?" How can two walk together without agreement? It is impossible for that to happen, and if on the off chance that two persons with different minds decides to move together, then there will be a lot of quarrels and troubles on the way.

What causes disagreement among ourselves? Why is it difficult for everyone to live in peace and unity? There are various reasons for this disagreement, in our world we have different people with different mindset, doctrines, way of living etc.

No one is above mistake, no doctrine is completely perfect, it is better we put those things aside and pursue peace and unity. In this world where there are no perfect being, forgiveness should be always considered in most cases. Jesus spoke about the importance of agreement in (Matthew 18:19-20) which says, "Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven."

The above verse is a verse of encouragement towards uniting together! For two to agree, it means there is peace within them, and the promise from the verse is that when we pray in this agreement, our father would listen to us. We who are in the christian mission must understand that we are one body in Christ Jesus, it doesn't matter the kind of denomination we belong to; what matter is that we serve one father.

Complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind: Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. (Philippians 2:2-3)

Jesus laid a foundation of unity before he left, he showed a good example by washing the feet of his disciples and that is in (John 13:14) which says, "If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another feet."

Finally I urge everyone to give peace a chance and pursue unity, if we as Christians claim to believe in Christ, then we must understand that we are products of unity. May the good Lord bless you abundantly in this year 2018!
