TEMPLE THOUGHTS Thy Kingdom Come

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. (Luke 11:2 KJV)

The word Hosanna means save us oh Lord we pray , it is the cry of a people in bondage to a lesser power trusting that a higher power would come to deliver them from their miseries. That was why in mark 11v 10 ,all Jerusalem came to welcome Jesus riding on a donkey , shouting blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that comes in the name of the Lord , Hosanna in the highest. The people were tired , they have been colonized by many, the Mamelukes of Egypt, the tyranny of Antiochus epiphanies, the Greeks and now they were under Roman rule . All their leaders so far have been corrupt and extremely so , including Pontius Pilate , they crave therefore the promised restoration of the kingdom of David, they crave the kingdom of God , and when they saw Jesus riding on a donkey ,they recognized in Him the representative of the kingdom of God . Hence the shout of Hosanna , blessed be He who comes in the name of the Lord .

The story of Nigeria is similar, we’ve been raped by men worse than Antiochus, right now the entire country is been ravaged by very heartless men . Our high expectation at the coming of Buhari is the reason why we are so disappointed as we see clearly the Kingdom he represents. Politicians are again positioning us to begin a fresh search for the next fraudster , another villainous rapist , perhaps with a larger manhood therefore able to cause more pain . I will rather suggest that we look away from both PDP and APC , they are both two sides of a bad coin , let’s begin to look up to heaven for something new , let’s call on God to save us . He has ways and methods we know nothing about, He is wiser than our corrupt constitution.
May His kingdom come over the entire nation and even in our individual lives and businesses. His kingdom is of righteousness, peace and Joy
