Jesus the Living Water

Water is as important to life as air. No living or non living being can survive without water. Water is important to quench our thirst as well as for other domestic uses such as bathing, washing of clothes, plates etc.

As far as i know there has not been an alternative to water unlike many other things. No man has been able to substitute anything else for water. It has been water and nothing else. Men have tried so hard to substitute something else for water like soft and hard drinks but without success.

If there cannot be an alternative to water, then there can not be any to Jesus. Jesus is the source of life. He is the the rivers of the living water. He is more important to life than water. To want to survive is to have Him and to reject Him is the opposite.

Each time we drink water, we thirst again time after time, but with Jesus we will never thirst again. Jesus said if any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink.
