At His Limit

How many different ways must I show you
How dense does one have to be
I gave you my son, I gave you my scriptures
And somehow you're too arrogant to see

I gave you great prophets to teach you the truth
And disciples to teach you about my son
I gave you the Holy Spirit to guide you along
I gave you a way to live with me when all is done

You don't do the things I command you to do
You don't walk with me so you can hear my voice
You don't take the time to help the poor and needy
You love the world, clearly, you have made your choice

What do you expect me to do with you
If I had to grade you, quite simply you would fail
I told you what happens if you do not obey me
I've said it so many times, you will burn in hell
