Why Speaking in Tongues, Praising in Tongues, Holy Ghost Dance, and Prophecies Are Fake.

오늘은 방언, 방언찬송, 성령춤, 예언이 왜 미혹인가? 라는 제목으로 같이 생각해보도록 하겠습니다.
Today, I would like to talk about why speaking in tongues, praising in tongues, Holy Ghost dance, and prophecies are fake.

제가 방언, 방언찬송, 성령춤, 예언이 악한 영이 속이는 그런 미혹이라고 주장하는 칼럼을 읽어보시면, 적지않은 사람들은 저의 주장을 인정하지 못하겠다는 표정이 역력하게 읽히죠.
Many people get offended when I say these things come from demons, trying to bait people.

그래서 간혹 생면부지인 사람이 전화를 걸어서 신랄하게 비난을 퍼붓기도 합니다.
And so, sometimes I get nasty phonecalls and messeges from people I don't even know.

뭐, 솔직히 저의 주장이 비성경적이고 자신의 신앙관과 맞지 않으면 소 닭보듯 하며 무시해버리면 됩니다.
You can ignore what I have to say if my claims are not biblical or don't agree with your religious views.

인터넷 공간에 떠돌아다니는 이단 사설이 어디 한두군데입니까?
There are many places online where people talk about these types of things.

그러나 저는 개인이나 교회를 실명으로 들어서 칼럼을 쓰지 않습니다.
And I don't specifically name an individual or a church when I write my columns.

그러니까 자신과 상관없다고 여기고 무시해버리면 되죠.
You can ignore my columns and go your way, if it seems irrelevant.

그런데 다음 저희 카페까지 들어와서 비난 댓글을 달거나 다른 카페에 돌아다니면서 저를 맹비난하는 사람들의 이유를 잘 모르겠습니다.
But some people find my websites and post unpleasant comments and criticize me, following wherever I go.

자신하고 아무런 상관없는 일이 아닙니까?
If it is irrelevant, wouldn't they just ignore me and move on?

그러나 속을 찬찬히 살펴보면, 이렇게 저를 비난하는 이유는 자신에게 하는 소리처럼 들리기 때문이죠.
I guess they feel the need to criticize me and disprrove me because what I say feels like a personal attack.

제 주장에 따르면 자신이 귀신에게 속아서 포로로 잡혀있고, 이대로 가다가는 지옥의 불길에 던져진다고 하니까 두려움과 분노가 치솟고 화때문에 견디지 못하는가봅니다.
I guess they can't stand my comments about how people are slaves of demons and will be thrown out to hell fire; my comments anger them and scare them.

그래서 오늘은 그들이 손사래를 치는 영적 현상이나 은사가 왜 귀신이 속이는 미혹인지 보고싶습니다.
So I would like to talk about spiritual phenomena and ability we call gifts, and if they are really from God.

작금의 우리네 교회에서는 방언만 하면 성령이 내주했다고 여기는 증거로 삼습니다.
Church today consider it a proof of Holy Spirit if people pray and speak in tongues.

귀신을 쫒아낼 때도, 넘어지면서 소리를 지르면서 몸부림을 치고 그러면 귀신이 쫒겨나가고 또 방언을 하면 성령이 임했다고 합니다.
Even when they chase demons out, they consider people falling backwards, screaming, and moving violently as proofs of demons leaving them. And they say the Holy Spirit is inside them if they start speaking in tongues.

물론 성경에는 방언이 성령이 주시는 은사임을 밝히고 있죠.
The Bible says that the gift of tongues is given by Holy Spirit.

그렇다면 모든 방언이 죄다 성령이 주시는 방언입니까?
Does that mean all tongues are given by the Holy Spirit?

저는 평신도 시절에 방언은 물론 방언찬송도 유창하게 했습니다.
Before I became a pastor, I spoke and prayed in tongues. I also sang and praised in tongues.

그러나 딱 거기까지였어요.
But that was all I did.

만약 제게 주신 방언이 성령이 주신 것이였다면 그렇게 하는 일마다 실패뿐인 인생을 살 수가 없었을 겁니다.
If the gift I had was from God, I wouldn't have lived a life of failures.

방언은 외국어란 뜻입니다.
"Tongues" means foreign languages.

물론 외국어 방언이 아니라 국적을 알 수 없는 방언, 뭐 천사 방언이라고 하죠.
Of course, the ones we are familiar with are the "angel tongues" that we cannot tell where it originated.

그런 것이 있다고 주장하는 이들도 허다합니다.
I mean, that is what some people claim.

어쨌든 그 방언을 하는 사람들이 성령이 함께하시는 증거나 변화 능력과 열매가 없다면 그 방언은 악한 영이 속여 넣어주는 방언이 틀림없거나 자의적으로 하는 방언이죠.
Anyway, if people who speak in tongues don't show other God-given gifts, proofs, or changes, it is either arbitrarily spoken intonations or something demons gave.

저는 귀신을 쫒아내면서 귀신들이 방언을 하면서 나가는 현상을 수도없이 목격했습니다.
I have seen a lot of demons speak in tongues as they left peoples' bodies.

또한 저에게 기도훈련을 요청하는 사람들의 거의 대부분이 방언기도를 하고 있다고 실토했어요.
Also, a lot of people who ask me for the prayer coaching have told em they pray in tongues most of times.

그렇다면 이들은 죄다 성령이 함께하는 사람들인데 왜 저에게 성령이 내주하는 기도훈련을 요청하였을까요?
Then why would they come for my help, if they are with the Holy Spirit all the time?

만약 제 이야기를 듣는 여러분 중에서 오랫동안 방언을 하고 있지만 성령이 함께하는 증거나 능력 변화나 열매가 없다면 성령이 계신 것을 의심하는 것이 당연한 일 아니겠습니까?
Isn't it natural to doubt the existence of the Holy Spirit within you, if you don't have any positive outcomes of being with the Holy Ghost, even if you speak in tongues?

적지않은 교회나 신앙공동체에서 방언을 연습시키고 있다고 합니다.
I heard a lot of churches now train people to speak in tongues.

방언이 연습해서 할 수있는 것이라면 왜 성령이 주시는 선물 --은사라는 말이 선물이란 뜻이예요-- 이냐 하는 것이예요.
If it can be trained, it's not God-given.

그리고 그들이 하는 방언은 스스로 시작하고 그만 둘 수가 있습니다.
And they are able to control when to start and stop, however they want.

제가 경험한 바로는 성령이 주시는 방언은 자신이 통제할 수도 없고 새로운 방언으로 계속 바뀌고 있어요.
From my experience, you cannot control when to start or stop speaking in tongues. And they change constantly.

그러나 평생 똑같은 음절을 반복하는 이들이 우리네 주변에 허다합니다.
But there are a lot of people that repeat the same meaningless intonations over and over.

이런 방언은 자의적인 방언이거나 악한 영이 속여서 넣어주는 방언입니다.
These are something they came up with, or something they say because they were fooled by demons.

또한 방언찬송이나 성령춤은 말할 것도 없죠.
Same thing with praising in tongues and the Holy Ghost dance.

이러한 현상은 성경에도 없고, 물론 성경에 없다고 성령이 주시지 않는다고 말할 이유(?)는 없을 겁니다.
They are not mentioned in the Bible. Of course, you can't doubt everything just because the Bible doesn't cover it.

그렇다면 방언 찬송을 하거나 성령춤을 추는 여러분들이 예수님이나 사도들보다 더 놀라운 영적능력으로 세상을 놀라게 해야하지 않겠습니까?
Then shouldn't people with such gifts surprise the world with their abilities, power that might be greater than what Jesus and apostles had?

예수님이나 사도들도 하지 않은 성령의 은사가 있는데 왜 그렇게 무능하고 무기력하게 살아가는지 저에게 속시원히 이유를 설명해주시기 바랍니다.
I mean, Jesus and apostles didn't have that kind of gift. But why are you living a life of powerlessness? Please explain if you know why.

방언찬송이나 성령춤뿐만 아니라 웃으면서 뒤로 자빠지고 아말감이 금이빨로 바뀌고 금가루가 떨어지는 현상들은 죄다 신사도 운동을 주장하는 자들의 전유물입니다.
Things like praising in tongues, Holy Ghost dance, and other phenomena like falling backwards, your amalgam fillings turning to gold, and gold powders raining on you are part of New Apostolic Reformation movement.

그렇다면 이들에게 사도행전의 사도들이나, 사도들이 행하던 귀신을 쫒아내고 고질병을 치료하며 영혼을 구원하고 하나님의 나라를 확장하면서 세상을 놀라게 해야할 것입니다.
If these are legitimate, people who have these abilities should be surprising the world everyday with power greater than apostles, driving demons out, healing the sick, saving people's souls, and expanding God's kingdom.

그러나 이들은 분위기를 띄워주는 집회나 기이한 현상으로 사람들을 놀라게하는 깜짝쇼를 즐겨하고 있죠.
But they surprise us with absurd revival meetings and phenomena that happens there.

하나님으로부터 계시를 받은 예언자들의 예언은 구약시대에 하나님의 뜻을 알리는 중요한 통로였고, 또 초대교회를 세웠던 당시에도 아주 중요한 역할을 하였습니다.
Prophets were the important link that connected God and the people during the Old Testament era, and they also played importnat roles when the early churches were founded.

그래서 사도바울은 큰 은사를 사모하되 예언을 하려고 하라는 권면을 남기기도 하였습니다.
So Apostle Paul tells us to desire the greater gifts and try to prophecize.

왜 그런지 아십니까?
Do you know why?

예언의 은사는 하나님의 뜻을 아는 중요한 통로이기 때문입니다.
It is because the gift of prophecy is a way for us to know and understand God's will.

이렇게 예언의 은사가 초대교회를 세워나가는데 실로 중요한 역할을 해왔죠.
This gift played a very important part when the early churches of Christ were founded.

그래서 그런지, 우리네 교회 주변, 혹은 기도원, 혹은 기도많이 한다는 사람들 중에서 영음을 듣고 예언을 한다는 사람들이 넘쳐나고 있어요.
Maybe that is why we see so many people showing the ability of prophecy, especially from the ones we praise for having firm faith.

특히 여러 목사들 중에서 상당부분이 예언을 한다고 해도 과언이 아닙니다.
And a lot of pastors seem to have have the power of prophecy as well.

최근 급성장한 어느 대형교회에서는 지원자들을 받아서 예언을 연습시키고, 예배가 끝나면 그 교회에서 임명한 예언자들이, 전국에서 예언을 들으려고 관광버스를 타고와서 번호표를 받아가면서 줄을 서서 기다리면서 그들에게 예언을 받고 있다고 합니다.
I have heard that a church, which became large and famous recently, have voluteers and students willing to learn to prophecize. The church leaders train them and certify them as prophets, and there are tons of people lining outside to listen to what they have to say.

그런데 그 예언은, 대부분 시시콜콜한 일상사에 불과합니다.
But all these predictions are related to your everyday lives.

코에 걸면 코걸이, 귀에 걸면 귀걸이 같은 두루뭉술한 예언이 대부분이죠.
These prophecies are often very open to interpretations, so there is no way to find out what it really means.

설령 과거를 알아맞힌다 하더라도 미아리 용한 점집의 점쟁이에 비하면 세발의 피예요.
Even if those prophets know about you and your past without asking, they are nothing compared to those famous fortune tellers you hear about.

그런 예언이 성령께서 해주시는 말씀입니까?
Are these really from the Holy Spirit?

성경에 나오는 예언자들의 말씀과 비교해보세요.
Compare their prophecies with the prophets' words in the Bible.

하나님의 예언자들은 미래에 일어날 일과 하나님의 사역에 관한 일에 대해서만 예언을 하고 있어요.
God's prophets only predict about the future and about the Lord's ministry for this world.

그런데 우리네 교회에서 예언하는 이들의 예언은 허접 쓰레기 같은 말이나, 점쟁이 수준을 벗어나지 못합니다.
But the prophets today often predict or guess about meaningless things; they are no different from those fortune tellers.

이러한 예언은 죄다 귀신이 넣어주는 예언이거나 자의적으로 하는 예언일 뿐이예요.
All these predictions either come from demons or are arbitrary thoughts of us humans.

그런데 문제는, 분별력이 없어서 귀신의 영이 들어간 예수 점쟁이를 하나님이 주시는 예언으로 알고 관광버스를 타고 줄을 서서 기다리는 사람들이 불쌍하기만 하죠.
The problem is that there are poor unfortunate people who firmly believe the demons' prophets are from the Lord, as their leaders that will take all of them to heaven.

귀신의 말을 듣는 사람은 귀신의 종입니다.
If a person listens to what demons tell him/ her, he/ she is a servant of demons.

귀신의 종이 어떻게 천국에 들어가겠어요?
How can a servant of demons go to heaven?

죄다 지옥 불에 던져지게 될 것이 명확한 일이죠.
It is obvious they will all thrown into hell fire.

성경에 이런 말씀이 있습니다. "악한자의 나타남은..." 데살로니가 후서 2: 9-12 말씀입니다.
There is a passage in the Bible that goes like this in 2 Thessalonians 2: 9-12: The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness."

또한 "그런 사람들은 거짓 사도요..." 고린도 후서 11: 13-15 말씀입니다.
And in 2 Corinthians 11: 13-15: For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

또한 예수님도 이런 말씀을 하셨어요. "그때에..." 마태복음 24: 23-24 말슴이예요.
Jesus also said in Matthew 24: 23-24, "At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect."

이렇게 종말이 다가올 수록 악한 영들은 성령의 은사를 속여서 미혹시키고 있습니다.
Just like the scripture says, demons fool people, masquerading their thoughts as gift of the Holy Spirit. It will happen more and more, as the end of the world comes near.

여러분에게 이런 신기한 현상이 있지만 성령이 주시는 증거나 능력, 변화나 열매가 없다면 죄다 귀신의 속임수라고 보면 틀림없습니다.
If you have these amazing gifts and experiences, but if you don't have any qualities of the Holy Spirit, you have to acknowledge that those are all from the demons.

그래도 저의 말을 믿고 싶지 않다면 심판날에 여러분이 가야하는 곳을 직접 두눈으로 확인해보시길 바랍니다.
If you don't believe me still, you will have to find out when the Judgement Day comes.
