The Love Foundation For Fruitfulness.

Profitable fruitfulness is based on love. There is no real fruitfulness without love. The LORD has designed us to reign in life; but reigning is not automatic. Every reigning product has a secret. For instance, Coca-cola is one of the reigning soft drinks that is widely accepted in the society. The company has its trade secret by which it maintains its unique taste that makes it to reign. There are secrets that makes for reigning in God's kingdom also. In Luke 12:11 scripture says, 

"And he said unto them, unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; But unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables". 

There are also kingdom keys. In Matthew 16:19, Jesus says, 

"And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whosoever thou shall bind on earth, shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever thou shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven". 

Love is one vital kingdom mystery (secret) and key for fruitfulness. The only platform upon which everything works is love. As powerful as faith is, it works by love. In Galatians 5:6b, we are told 

"...But faith which worketh by love".

 And in Matthew 22:37-40, Jesus says 

"...Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy mind. This is the first and the greatest commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shall love thy neighbor as thy self. On these two commandments hang all the laws and the prophets".

"On these two commandments (Love) HANG all...". That means all other kingdom virtues are supported by love. Prayer and fasting is exercise in futility outside love, your service is eye-service outside love, even your study and meditation will not produce result outside love. Love is everything.

What is Love?

It is delight-some commitment, making God your living idol that you are serving. Love is serving God because he is God, not because he's providing my needs. Don't prove your love to God as a burden, but as a delight. Anything you want to give to God, and you don't feel happy doing it, don't give it, otherwise it will be a waste, because he loves a cheerful giver. Only give because you love him; just as a man gives to his wife because he loves her. Giving only has no benefit outside love.

The foundation for fruitfulness is love. Win souls not because you want to impress or please your pastor, but because you love God. Until Hannah changed to a love lane, she did not have her Samuel. She said to God, "If you will give me a male child, I will give him to serve you all the days of his life". Let me ask you a question, why do you want to be rich? Is it to glorify God and his kingdom or to show off? You must give, pray and preach only because you love God. In 1 Corinthians 13, we are told that no matter what we are, outside love we are nothing. Carry God in your heart; stop impressing people, impress God only. You can't carry God in your heart and not breakthrough in life. It is the intensity of your love for God that determines his blessings that comes to your life. 

In John 21:15-17, scripture says, 

"So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon Peter son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him yea, Lord thou knowest that I love thee, He saith unto him, feed my lambs...".

Jesus emphasized this statement "Lovest thou me more than these", three times to Peter, to show him how important love is to him and how he must show it in serving him. He was trying to let Peter know that, what will make him fruitful is not his fishing profession,but love for him. Do you also love the Lord more than that business of yours? Paul says, "What can separate us from the love of God...". 

When nothing can separate you, then you are in for fruitfulness. If your service to God is just for him to bless you, you are not in love. Love is not a gift but a choice; if you choose to love God passionately, you won't miss your reward. The Psalmist says, 

"The young lion do lack and suffer hunger, but they that seek (love) the Lord shall not want any good thing". 

Matthew 6:33, also said, 

"Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and its righteousness, all these things shall be added unto you. 

It takes love to make God add to you things that every other people are struggling after. Many people are hunters in God's house, the reason they go to church is because of what they stand to gain. Such people will be losers. Check scriptures, men like Abraham, David, Solomon, Daniel, Paul, etc were all made by their love for God. Love indeed is a key factor to fruitfulness. 

Kingdom wealth in not given, but it is entrusted (to lovers of God). To entrust means, it is only put in your custody, and any time the giver (God) comes for it, you are ready with all willingness to release it. It takes a lover to do that. That is why God will only entrust wealth to people he knows to be his cover. He said about Abraham, "I know him, he will command his children after me". Can God say such concerning you. Many times God gives us a test of love, the question is, did you pass the test? Giving is a mark of love; you can give without loving but you can not love without giving. Love is the foundation for fruitfulness, prove the sincerity of your love to God and he will make you abundantly fruitful.
