GOD: A WONDERFUL TEACHER 1

23 Listen to me; listen, and pay close attention.
24 Does a farmer always plow and never sow? Is he forever cultivating the soil and never planting?
25 Does he not finally plant his seeds—black cumin, cumin, wheat, barley, and emmer wheat—each in its proper way, and each in its proper place?
26 THE FARMER KNOWS JUST WHAT TO DO, FOR GOD HAS GIVEN HIM UNDERSTANDING.
27 A heavy sledge is never used to thresh black cumin; rather, it is beaten with a light stick. A threshing wheel is never rolled on cumin; instead, it is beaten lightly with a flail.
28 Grain for bread is easily crushed,
so he doesn’t keep on pounding it. He threshes it under the wheels of a cart, but he doesn’t pulverize it.
29 THE LORD OF HEAVEN'S ARMIES IS A WONDERFUL TEACHER, AND HE GIVES THE FARMER GREAT WISDOM."
Isaiah 28:23-29 (NLT)

• If you walk with God in holiness, in the light of His Word, He would teach you all things.

  • The teaching of God is done inwardly by revelation, through the Holy Spirit who resides in the recreated human spirit of a believer—the inward man
  • You get to know things that are not taught to you by anyone, through your intuition—the means through which the Holy Spirit communicates via your human spirit:
11 BUT I MAKE KNOWN TO YOU, BRETHREN, THAT THE GOSPEL WHICH WAS PREACHED BY ME IS NOT ACCORDING TO MAN. 12 FOR I NEITHER RECEIVED IT FROM MAN, NOR WAS I TAUGHT IT, BUT IT CAME THROUGH THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST" (Galatians 1:11,12 NKJV).
  • The example of what is being shared is the teachings of Paul, his epistles, they were given to him through the revelation knowledge of the Holy Spirit. He received them through the intuition by his spirit—the recreated human spirit.

• Believers are taught things that could not have been made known to them without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit who resides on the inside of Believers teaches them all things: "BUT THE HELPER, THE HOLY SPIRIT, WHOM THE FATHER WILL SEND IN MY NAME [Jesus], HE WILL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, AND BRING TO YOUR REMEMBRANCE ALL THINGS THAT I SAID TO YOU" (John 14:26 NKJV).

  • When God leads and teaches you through the Holy Spirit who resides on your inside, in your spirit or inward man, you make profit: "THUS SAYS THE LORD, YOUR REDEEMER, THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL: “I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD, WHO TEACHES YOU TO PROFIT, WHO LEADS YOU BY THE WAY YOU SHOULD GO" (Isaiah 48:17 NKJV).

• In the text of this teaching, we could see how the farmers are taught by God intuitively (Isaiah 28:26,29).

  • God desires to teach His children intuitively, which is called revelation. He wants them to learn by the Holy Spirit who resides on their inside—in their spirit, the inward man:
"BUT THE ANOINTING WHICH YOU HAVE RECEIVED FROM HIM ABIDES IN YOU, AND YOU DO NOT NEED THAT ANYONE TEACH YOU; BUT AS THE SAME ANOINTING TEACHES YOU CONCERNING ALL THINGS, AND IS TRUE, AND IS NOT A LIE, AND JUST AS IT HAS TAUGHT YOU, YOU WILL ABIDE IN HIM" (1 John 2:27).
    READ: Ezekiel 11:19-21; 36:26,27
  • The word translated anointing is "chrisma" in Greek. It means an unguent or smearing, that is, the special endowment "chrism" of the Holy Spirit—anointing, unction. It also means to furnish what is needed. Also, It means to give an oracle; a divine revelation, or a message from God.
  • In other words, the passage can be rendered Thus:
" . . . BUT AS THE SAME ANOINTING [the special endowment of the Holy Spirit] ABIDES IN YOU, TEACHES YOU [furnish you with what is needed, or give you an oracle, or a divine revelation, or a message from God] CONCERNING ALL THINGS . . . " (1 John 2:27).
  • However, those who are led are the sons and daughters of God, and they are also taught through the pattern explained above: "FOR AS MANY AS ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THESE ARE SONS OF GOD" (Romans 8:14 NKJV).

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

  • If you are having any ailment in your body as you read this piece, you are declared healed now in Jesus' mighty name.
  • Whatever is not of God in your body that is working against your health, such is uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
    Peace!
