PRAYER: AN INTEGRAL PART
18 PRAY IN THE SPIRIT at all times and on every occasion. STAY ALERT AND BE PERSISTENT IN YOUR PRAYERS FOR ALL BELIEVERS EVERYWHERE.
19 And pray for me, too. ASK GOD TO GIVE ME THE RIGHT WORDS SO I CAN BOLDLY EXPLAIN GOD'S MYSTERIOUS PLAN THAT THE GOOD NEWS IS FOR JEWS AND GENTILES ALIKE."
Ephesians 6:18,19 (NLT)
28 AND GOD HAS APPOINTED THESE IN THE CHURCH: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, HELPS, administrations, varieties of tongues.
29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?"
1 Corinthians 12:28–29 (NKJV)
• Apostle Paul in the above Bible passage, Ephesians 6:18,19, was asking the brethren to keep praying, they should be intentional and be persistent about it.
- They should endeavour to pray for him as well, that God will give him utterance, the right words, to be able to boldly share or explain God's mystery of the gospel—His mysterious plan of the gospel.
- Some believers who are in the help ministries (1 Corinthians 12:28) do not always see the need for prayers in their work or assignment. The fact that your ministry is one of the help ministries does not mean you should be lagging in prayer.
- The way a Word minister would need prayers to back up his or her ministrations, so also someone in the help ministry would need.
- Divine utterance is needed in whatever you are assigned to do in the ministry work; either the Word or songs ministrations, or whatever.
- Thus, prayer plays an important or a significant role in whatever you are assigned to do. It should be an integral part of whatever anyone wanted to do in the Kingdom of God on the earth.
• Whether you are in the pulpit ministry or one of the help ministries—prayers should be part of your life as earlier said.
- If you are a singer for instance, you also would need to pray and fast in order to be impactful in your ministrations. It is unfortunate that song ministrations are being turned to a mere entertainment in the Body of Christ today.
- God moves and works through songs that are birthed with prayers and possibly with fastings added.
- For your work to be impactful and have a lasting effect on the people, you have to build your spiritual stamina; that is, your relationship and fellowship with God had to be a working type—practical type.
- If you are shallow in the understanding of God, in your relationship and communion with Him; you also would be lacking in the depth of revelation that is received from Him. In other words, you would be having a shallow and not a deep revelation knowledge of God as well.
- Whether you are gifted in song ministration, drama, or whatever other help ministry; you equally have the responsibility to wait on God in prayers, fastings, and fellowship or communion, to receive fresh oil for your assignment.
- You can only give what you have, what you do not have you cannot give (Acts 3:6). If you would not want to be an ordinary entertainer, which your ministrations would just be like a fun to people, then, you would need to equip yourself—stay with God, in His presence, to receive unction to function.
• A song, whatever is done through other help ministries, should be a ministration. The goal should be for soul winning and the edification of the saints, the believers—not entertainment per SE.
- And If the goal of making your work that is considered a ministry of help impactful; for soul-winning and edification of the saints, you as the instrument being used by God to do the work must have the full understanding and importance of unceasing prayer and the living of a consecrated life.
- You as the instrument in God's hand would need to cooperate with God; be submissive to His Will or plan, and allow Him to equip you for His purpose and plan.
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- Whatever is not of God in your body that is working against your health and wellness is cursed and totally uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- The hold is broken and never will it rise again in Jesus' mighty name.
Peace!
STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).

b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
- If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
