THE UNSTABLE WORLD

“AND THE WORLD IS PASSING AWAY, AND THE LUST OF IT; BUT HE WHO DOES THE WILL OF GOD ABIDES FOREVER.”
1 JOHN 2:17 (NKJV)

There is no shaking for someone who does God’s will.
Doing the will of God means living in line with the Word of God and whatever specific instructions given to you as an individual believer. The Word of God is the will of God!
God can only help you, work in your life, to the extent of your obedience to His Word; both the written word and the spoken words or the words specifically spoken to you by the Holy Spirit on the inside of you.

The sign of your reverence for God is your obedience to His Word, what He instructed you to do (Hebrews 11:8).
God will not believe you love Him, honour Him, respect Him, when you have not been obeying His word—living your life according to His Word (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1-3; James 1:22-25).
Proof of your love for God is obedience to His Word:
3 NOW BY THIS WE KNOW THAT WE KNOW HIM, IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. 4 HE WHO SAYS, “I KNOW HIM,” AND DOES NOT KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, IS A LIAR, AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM" (1 John 2:3,4 NKJV).

God will not believe you love Him, if you have not been doing or practicing His Word (James 1:22-25).
The system of the world is not stable, it is only through God’s Word, the practicing His Word which is His will, that you can abide forever. Your stability in this unstable world is by abiding in the Word of God!

15 DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD OR THE THINGS IN THE WORLD. IF ANYONE LOVES THE WORLD, THE LOVE OF THE FATHER IS NOT IN HIM.
16 FOR ALL THAT IS IN THE WORLD—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—IS NOT OF THE FATHER BUT IS OF THE WORLD.
17 AND THE WORLD IS PASSING AWAY, AND THE LUST OF IT; BUT HE WHO DOES THE WILL OF GOD ABIDES FOREVER."
