TRANSFERENCE OF THE ANOINTING
"BY A PROPHET THE LORD BROUGHT ISRAEL OUT OF EGYPT, And by a prophet he was preserved."
Hosea 12:13 (NKJV)
"AND SO IT WAS, WHEN THEY HAD CROSSED OVER, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” ELISHA SAID, “PLEASE LET A DOUBLE PORTION OF YOUR SPIRIT BE UPON ME.”
2 Kings 2:9 (NKJV)
• God might bring some people, ministers, on your way, particularly at each time or period of transition in your work or ministry journey.
- Such people you meet would have a word for you. Such are usually engraced with the anointing and the word you needed to move to the next phase of your life and ministry.
- You must be able to recognize such a minister when you meet him or her—the Holy Spirit on the inside of you would bear witness with your spirit that he or she is assigned to impact your life (Romans 8:14).
- Another thing that you would notice is, you would be attracted or endeared to such a minister and his style of ministry. You would have a witness on the inside of you that you needed to receive something from him (Genesis 14:18-20).
- When you begin to have such a urge or stir towards a minister, you should know that God is speaking to you about the person—the minister.
- If you unknowingly or ignorantly missed the minister or prophet, you may experience lagging or slowness in your assignment and your journey might not be speeded.
• In addition, what is shared here might not be only when you meet such a minister one on one, the same thing can happen when you are reading the material or listening to the message of whoever minister God may want to use for such a purpose in your life.
- Anointing is transferable and it can be extended from one vessel of God to another vessel, but the whole plan is always orchestrated by God.
- Another important thing that trigger the transference of the anointing from one vessel of God to another vessel is thirst in the heart of the recipient—the younger minister who is desiring to be anointed or empowered (2 Kings 2:4-14). But all is always masterminded by God.
- In some cases, the person or minister on whom the anointing is might not know anything about the desire of the person or minister who is desirous of the anointing on his or her life; such might be in another place, location or nation, whilst the person thirsting is entirely in another nation or country far from him, yet the person desiring would still receive. All is done by God because there is no distance in the realm of the spirit.
- Thus, If you are sincere in your heart, desiring to receive the anointing on a particular minister whom you do believe you are stirred to follow and receive the anointing on his or her life, you should go ahead and desire to receive.
- If you are sincere in your heart, it would surely be extended to you by God. God is no respecter of persons, If you fear God and works righteousness (Acts 10:34,35), It surely would be given to you.
- Anointing is transferable and it can be given to you.
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
Should there be any ailment in your body, receive your healing now in Jesus' name.
The affliction will not rise the second time in Jesus' mighty name.
STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
- If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
