WHERE WILL YOU SPEND YOUR ETERNITY? 1
14 “LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED; YOU BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME.
2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU.
3 AND IF I GO AND PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU, I WILL COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE YOU TO MYSELF; THAT WHERE I AM, THERE YOU MAY BE ALSO.
4 AND WHERE I GO YOU KNOW, AND THE WAY YOU KNOW.”
John 14:1–4 (NKJV)
• Jesus said He was going in order to prepare a place for those who put their faith and trust in Him (John 14:2)
He said He is coming back to take the believers in Him to where He would be (John 14:3).
Whoever comes to God the Father through Christ Jesus would have a place in His eternal Kingdom. If I may ask, Where would you spend your eternity, that is, life after death?
It is unfortunate that there are some people who do not believe in the life after death. This teaching or theory of annihilation emanated from the teachings of some eastern religions. THEY believe that If a person died, such died as an animal, that the end of the person has come. But that is not true.
Humans are eternal Beings. Human spirit cannot die, It lives eternally. When someone died physically, the person has just transited.
The inward man, the spirit of the person, has just left the physical body that could be considered the house where the spirit of the person dwells.
THE physical body would be interred, or buried, in the soil and decayed to become soil as said in the Scripture (Genesis 3:19). But the spirit of the person that would live eternally would depart either to be with Christ Jesus, If the person was a Believer in Christ, or be departed to Sheol, hell.Life after death is not a gimmick, or a way of consoling or comforting one another, those who are bereaved. It is real! (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).
If you believed and agreed with other things in the Bible, the message of eternity, life after death, should be believed as well: "AND IF I GO AND PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU, I WILL COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE YOU TO MYSELF; THAT WHERE I AM, THERE YOU MAY BE ALSO" (John 14:3 NKJV).
Where would you be when the Lord Jesus Christ comes? (Matthew 24:27).
When the trumpet is sound, Where would you be? (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17).
Are you preparing and ready for His coming again? (1 Peter 2:12,12; 2 Peter 3:13).
If you should die today, Are you sure of making Heaven? (2 Peter 3:14).
If you are not sure in your heart of being with Christ Jesus in His eternal home, you have to do something about it now, tomorrow might be too late:
"FOR HE SAYS: "IN AN ACCEPTABLE TIME I HAVE HEARD YOU, AND IN THE DAY OF SALVATION I HAVE HELPED YOU." BEHOLD, NOW IS THE ACCEPTED TIME; BEHOLD, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION" (2 Corinthians 6:2 NKJV).
• You prepare for your eternity while you are living on the earth, and that is through reconciling with God, by establishing a relationship with God through Jesus Christ (Romans 10:9,10; 2 Corinthians 5:18,19).
• The world is not the True home of the believers in Christ Jesus.
- We are resident aliens, pilgrims, or sojourners, on the earth. Heaven is our home: "FOR OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN, FROM WHICH WE ALSO EAGERLY WAIT FOR THE SAVIOUR, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST" (Philippians 3:20).
11 BELOVED, I BEG YOU AS SOJOURNERS AND PILGRIMS, ABSTAIN FROM FLESHLY LUSTS WHICH WAR AGAINST THE SOUL,
12 HAVING YOUR CONDUCT HONORABLE AMONG THE GENTILES, THAT WHEN THEY SPEAK AGAINST YOU AS EVILDOERS, THEY MAY, BY YOUR GOOD WORKS WHICH THEY OBSERVE, GLORIFY GOD IN THE DAY OF VISITATION."
1 Peter 2:11, 12 (NKJV)
• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
- Should there be any sickness in your body, you are healed now in Jesus' mighty name.
- Whatever is working against your health that is uprooted today will never be planted or formed again in Jesus' name.
Peace.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
- If you took the steps As highlighted above, congratulations, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
