RE: Christmas Day In The Park ~ Flowers and Ducks
Howdy sir keithboone! oh man, these are all great shots. The flowers are beautiful and the ducks are amazing to see up close or in flight. Is 1/2000th the fastest setting you have? I'd think that could catch anything.
Hey thanks for the resteem, it's greatly appreciated in fact I'm resteeming this beautiful post.
Thanks a lot, @janton. No, I can shoot faster than that... 1/4000th is good for Hummingbirds but I can get as quick as 1/8000 on one camera - not that I need that speed too often. More modern cameras can go even quicker than that. These kinds of features have their place - it just depends on what you're trying to do. I appreciate the share!
wow sir Keith ....1/8000th what would that catch, is that the speed they need to catch bullets coming out of a gun barrel?
Here's a guy who photographs bullets... pretty amazing stuff, I don't know what the shutter speed is, but there are actually cameras which can capture one million frames per second! Anyway, check these shots out: http://www.lex-augusteijn.nl/Gallery/High%20speed/Bullets/index.html
wow sir Keith, those are some amazing shots! I had no idea they had them that could capture a one million per second shot. dang.
Yes, and I'm not sure what they're for really. I think these are video, not stills...

howdy again sir Keith, holy cow, what;s the price on that fastest one? I didn't see any prices.
I don't know. If you have to ask, probably can't afford it! :)
haha! very true, I'm sure it would be in the thousands.
