I am using a nikon d3400.. i am still shooting most everything in auto as far as settings go.. havent played around with the camera enough to figure that stuff out.. still working on the basics 😉 so i could always use helpful hints.
It's better to try out yourself I too started like you, great going. Main is ISO rating should 100 on daylight condition as it gets darker increase the ISO rating. Hope Nikon got workshop in your place.
