Tekani field of Khoragach union of Mithapukur upazila of Rangpur district. On hearing the name, the pristine green and a piece of tranquility floats in front of the eyes. It is on this field that the 'Akhira Park' stands proudly, which is not only a recreation center for the locals, but an absolute pilgrimage to spend time in the proximity of nature. For those looking for authentic rural tranquility in an environment free from mechanical noise, this part of the Tekani grounds is a hidden paradise. The park has become unique in its own grandeur among our familiar grounds.

On entering the park, the first thing that catches the eye are two huge ancient banyan trees. These two mahiruhs stand as witnesses of the ages. Their cool shade and well-spreading branches give the whole area a magical look. When tired travelers or visitors from far and wide sit on this terrace in the hot afternoon, the rustling sound of the leaves and the cool breeze instantly wash away all the fatigue. It's hard to appreciate how generous nature can be here without spending some time under this shady banyan tree. It is like an absolute resting place for the weary soul.

A beautiful bridge located in the middle completes the beauty of Akhira Park. This bridge built over the reservoir is not only a means of crossing, but has established itself as one of the attractions of the entire area. Standing on the bridge, the view of Tekani field is incomparable. Especially in the afternoon when the golden glow of the sun shimmers on the water, an otherworldly atmosphere is created. It is a favorite photo spot for tourists. The sound of water flowing under the bridge and the peaceful surroundings make anyone think.

Right next to the park is a small and neat mosque. Although there is no external splendor, its simplicity and purity impresses the visitors greatly. Having such a prayer hall in the middle of the field gives visitors the opportunity to worship the Lord in silence, as well as being entertained by the proximity of nature. When it is time for prayer, the sound of Azan in this secluded area creates a spiritual atmosphere, which calms the mind deep down. It adds a kind of solemnity and serenity to the atmosphere of the park.

This part of Tekani field is a very emotional place for local people. People of different ages gather here every afternoon. Some come to hang out with friends, some come to spend some private time with family. The open air and the scent of the earth here are much fresher than the artificial parks of the city. The vastness of the field and the landscaped environment of the park have become monotonous here. The image of the simple life of the village can be seen in every corner of this park.

As nature changes, Akhira Park also takes different forms. In monsoons, when there is water all around Toitumbur, the joy of standing on the bridge and watching the water is different. On winter mornings, when the banyan trees are covered with fog, a mysterious and beautiful atmosphere is created. Although the park changes its appearance with the seasons, its calm serenity never fades. This green space has been playing an important role in protecting the local biodiversity and natural balance.
The sincerity of the locals behind the maintenance of the park is also visible. The clean environment and beautiful management make the visitors come back again and again. It is not only a place of entertainment, but also enriches the identity of our area. It's really lucky to find such a tidy place in the middle of the field. For those visiting Mithapukur or Khoragach Union, this picturesque Akhirar Park is at the top of their list.

All in all, Akhira Park is a wonderful amalgamation of nature, architecture and spirituality. This beauty of Tekani field is an invaluable asset of our rural township. At the end of the day, when the light of twilight fades, visitors still remember the coolness of this bamboo floor and the rays of the vast sky seen from the bridge. It is one of the beautiful places in our region, which will always be etched in the hearts of people and will make future generations interested in nature.
