SC-S30 | CineAtlas 60 Week 6 - Community Remake
Edited by Canva
Hello Steemians,
Welcome to Week 6 of CineAtlas 60, our filmmaking map challenge built on:
Speem.watch (video) + SteemAtlas (map pin).
We have now reached the final week of this creative season.
In Week 1, you introduced a place with a One Take Intro.
In Week 2, you built a story with exactly 3 shots.
In Week 3, you explored silent visual storytelling.
In Week 4, you gave life to an object as character.
In Week 5, you created a movement-based cinematic scene.
Now, for the last challenge, we celebrate the most important part of cinema and community:
inspiration.
This final week is about watching another participant’s style, idea, rhythm, framing, or creative approach — and then creating your own original version inspired by it.

Theme of the Week: Community Remake — “Inspired by Another Filmmaker”
The title of Week 6 is “Community Remake”.
Your mission is to create a 20–60 second micro-film inspired by the style or idea of another CineAtlas 60 participant from a previous week.
This is not copying.
This is creative reinterpretation.
You must choose one previous participant’s entry and remake something from it in your own way:
- a similar mood
- a similar cinematic technique
- a similar type of location
- a similar visual idea
- a similar storytelling approach
But your final film must remain:
- original
- filmed by you
- in your own place
- with your own creative touch
The goal is to show that this challenge has become a real creative exchange between participants across the map.

Mandatory Platforms / Video Requirement (Curation Note)
✅ Important Steemit curation requirement:
Since curation is done only on steemit.com, your video must be directly viewable on steemit.com to be counted for curation.
Therefore every entry must include:
- ✅ Speem.watch link (primary upload)
- ✅ A second link viewable on steemit.com (recommended: YouTube)
- ❌ IPFS-only links will not be accepted for curation

What Your Post Must Include
Every valid entry for Week 6 must contain four key elements:
a SteemAtlas pin, a remake-inspired micro-film, a short description, and weekly engagement.
1. SteemAtlas Pin – Your Remake Location
Open SteemAtlas and place a pin on your filming location (public / safe place).
In the pin description and your post, explain clearly:
- City + country
- What kind of place it is (street, park, station, beach, café area, monument, alley, path, etc.)
- Why this place fits your remake idea
- How this location connects to the inspiration you chose
Even if you are inspired by another participant, the place must still be your own real filming location.
2. Micro-Film Video (20–60 seconds) – Community Remake
Create a 20–60 sec micro-film inspired by one previous CineAtlas 60 entry.
Week 6 rule:
You must clearly state which participant and which post inspired your film.
You may reinterpret:
- the cinematic technique
- the framing style
- the rhythm
- the emotional mood
- the subject idea
- the visual structure
Examples:
- remake a silent visual mood in your own location
- reinterpret a 3-shot story with your own subject
- recreate the feeling of an object-centered story using a different object
- borrow the energy of a movement scene in another environment
Important:
- ✅ inspiration is allowed
- ✅ reinterpretation is encouraged
- ✅ your video must be original
- ❌ no copying someone else’s footage
- ❌ no stolen media
- ❌ no direct duplication without personal creativity
Your video must include:
- ✅ Speem.watch link
- ✅ YouTube (or any Steemit-embeddable player) link
3. Description – “Who inspired you, and how?”
Write a short description explaining:
- Which participant inspired you
- Which post/week inspired you
- What element you decided to remake
- How you transformed the idea into your own version
- Why you chose your location for this final film
You should also include the link to the original participant’s post that inspired your remake.
Add at least 4 photos from the area to improve presentation.
4. Engagement Twist – Shot Breakdown Comments
Each participant must comment on at least two Week 6 entries with a Shot Breakdown:
- Confirm the weekly technique: Community Remake ✔
- Mention your favorite moment with a timestamp
- Explain whether the remake feels creative and personal
- Give one constructive suggestion (originality, framing, clarity, rhythm, execution)
Simple “nice video” comments do not count.
