Escena 2: La criptoeconomía, un nuevo lenguaje, un nuevo mundo. / Scene 2: Cryptoeconomics, a new language, a new world.

Blockchain, criptografía, token, pool, minería, fee, fueron palabras que empezaron a entrar en nuestro argot, a incorporarse en nuestras rutinas productivas. Eran palabras que se iban sumando a guion, featurette, producción, edición, fotografía, arte. Los productores y realizadores cinematográficos, curiosos y sensibles tenemos que estar abiertos al conocimiento. No sólo a las historias reales o de ficción. Sino abiertos a toda esta dinámica tan cambiante como fascinante de ésta era digital.

Blockchain, cryptography, token, pool, mining, fee, were words that began to enter our jargon, to be incorporated into our productive routines. They were words that were added to script, featurette, production, editing, photography, art. Curious and sensitive filmmakers and producers have to be open to knowledge. Not just real or fictional stories. But open to all this dynamic as changing as fascinating of this digital age.

Como en las historias de caballería en dónde aparecen personajes iniciadores, provocadores y propositivos un buen día en nuestras oficinas llega un amigo de la infancia, Fernando Medina, quien nos alumbra a engranar nuestro incipiente conocimiento sobre el mundo criptográfico y cómo podíamos valernos de él, para la razón de ser de nuestra empresa. Nativos digitales al fin, se nos hizo fácil la adopción de esta plataforma y pudimos comprender sus posibilidades esquemas de sustentabilidad y autofinanciamiento. Para nadie es un secreto que en América Latina la utilización de las criptomonedas ha permitido sobrellevar la crisis económica, proteger el dinero de la hiperinflación en el caso venezolano y para 2018 decían que existían unas 14 formas de generarlas o de acceder a ellas. Y al año siguiente entramos justo en el tiempo del paso de la infomática de early adoption a la institucionalización.
