Acting calm and composed is a privilege of the mighty.
In my last installment, I answered the first ten questions posed to me for a spread in a magazine of a friend's. More shocked than anything, I let a little bit of my internal dialogue spill out in response.
I need to ask more questions, of myself. You don't truly improve yourself until you at least contemplate what you've done so far.
11.How has Boston's art scene changed in the past few years?
Speaking to photography, I think a few demonstrated the ability to transform their passion into a career choice and made visible progress. I think there is a larger shift towards younger individuals and the art of collaboration as well. More and more artists are combining their talents and reaching for greater heights.
12.How has your photography changed over the years?
I finally determined a process for securing the image I envision mentally. I’m almost experimenting creatively every day, which leads to its fair share of breakthroughs and development. I also ponder the nature of my message more frequently than ever.
13.If you could change anything about Boston, what would it be?
We have to fix the MBTA.
14.What music have you been listening to lately? Is there any connection between music you listen to and your photography?
I’ve been enjoying more instrumental music as of late, and little bit less of lyrical content. I think the moods expressed by nonverbal music allow the listener to be more expressive since there aren’t any words to pollute the thoughts. Thundercat, The Budos Band, and Menahan Street Band come to mind.
15.Have any fun facts/trivia about yourself?
I grew up entirely too shy to even stand in front of people. I’ve completely squashed the fear by instead just throwing myself out there. The results have been excellent thus far. I want to try a period of reclusion and get another taste of reservation.
16.What are your goals for the future?
I need to take more pictures, and I need to get much better at gaining permission from people. You’d be surprised – I don’t get many takers. I also want to be published, maybe it’ll be a book, at least, a gallery or two. I will graduate from college, and find a career. I also want to work from home.
17.What advice would you give yourself 5 years ago?
Work with lawyers. They will show you the way. Be persistent and follow up with people. Correspondence is key. Thank those that have worked with you previously. Press on. There’s a reason you are grabbing more and more attention.
18.Meaning of life?
I want you to get back to me on this. I have a couple more things to see first.
19.Finally, let me know if you're working on anything now or coming up that you'd like me to promote! :)
Share my story, my Instagram, my blog, as I sincerely appreciate it. But really, if you could find a favorite among my photos, and show a friend, that’s all I need.

again, great writing and photos. instrumental music gives us more room to think; we have been on a classical kick for awhile. I enjoy listening to meditation music and music with few words - East Forest is an artist I have found interesting in particular.

Awesome photos around the area. Personally like the interconnecting trails with the buildings.
