Article: A big Clearance

Nov 25 - DeepOnion city has to do with a big clearance. The earned DeepPoints are taken back by the moderators, since the level of abusing has been doubled (some even say tripled). The DeepOnion community has to do with forgery, spamming and scamming. DeepDominationTasks (DDT) are overloaded with greedy members forging their posts. The moderators are now answering this way of behavior the hard way.

Growing community

It all has to do with this growing community. More and more people are adding to this project. Which is good, but like every big community there will be malevolent people too. This is the reason why this clearance is going on. We, the community, don't want this kind of people.

Innocent

A lot of people are stunned. They're missing large amounts of DeepPoints since the moderators are deleting the incomplete tasks. Frustrated members started to complain about this way of clearance. "I am not a spammer, scammer or abuser. I have been following DeepOnion since the first post of the ANN thread in BCT, before this forum was even created. I am being mistreated yet again by this project. I know there will be issues with a new project, but genuine supporters seemed to get burned every time there is a issue". Although an active member of the community. The moderator replied clearly: "There is no special treatment for anyone, if I see a Incomplete Domination Task, I have to delete it. We need to be fair".

It seems that a lot of members are hurt by this approach of the moderators. Many people lost their DeepPoints without even knowing what they did wrong. It's unintelligible for many members and this causes the big frustration to some of them. The rules of the DDT's are strict and everyone has to accept them. If not, your thread will be deleted.

Aggressive approach

The aggressive approach is an answer to the community which is being infested by spamming, farming, cheating and scamming members. Not everyone is happy with this hard approach, but the moderators see this as a final option. The answer has to scare the abusing members. The only thing the community has to do is be patient and wait. There will be better times and they are coming soon.

Support tickets

Are you a victim of this approach without being an abuser? Do you think your post has been deleted unjustified? I'd like to suggest you to make a support ticket. This system is thought by the developers. To help you with any (technical) problem on the forum. Don't expect a direct answer, since the developers and moderators spend a lot of time fighting the abusive members. Please don't make emotional decisions and act decently to everyone. The community will be stronger.

Good wins over evil

But as always, the good will win over evil. That's why i want to ask the people to calm down and be patient. The bad people wont go away but we can reduce them. That's whats happening right now.
