沙漠之中的牛排店/ Steakhouse in the desert

德州的牛排闻名整个美国，而这家沙漠牛排馆却文明整个大德州。
这家牛排馆几乎是整个El Paso行程中我最期待的一站之一了。早早就听许多朋友提起，有这么一家牛排馆，坐落在沙漠之中，没有路牌，没有广告，连进到餐馆门口的路开起车来都是扬尘带土，仅仅是靠口口相传，靠一波一波的回头客，这家小小的牛排馆挤进了德州前十。知道德州的牛排馆有多少吗，知道前十有多么不容易么？带着好奇，带着期待，带着激动，出发。

Texas steak is well known in the whole US, and this steakhouse in the desert is well known throughout the whole Texas. This is definitely one of the most exciting places during the whole journey to El Paso. I have heard so many friends talk about this steakhouse, that it actually placed in a desert, no sign, no advertisement, no well paved road leads to the steakhouse. It all depends on its reputation, on its customers' recommendations.

这家牛排馆很有意思，坐落在一个叫Indian Cliff 的农场上。农场里有小溪河流，也有典型的美国西部空旷的沙漠，甚至还有农场主的一个小型动物园。景色有鲜明的对比，所以，这个农场是好几部电影的取景地。

This great steakhouse located on a ranch called Indian Cliff Ranch. The view inside the ranch ranges so wide, from creek to desert. The owner of the ranch even has a small zoo inside of it. The breathtaking view of this ranch made it a great set of couples of movies.

另外，这个农场的日落也是相当出名的。就想象一下，在一个空旷的能看到地平线的地方，看夕阳缓缓落下，空气里还飘着牛排的香味，是多么美好的一件事情。

然而最让农场主自豪的，就是这家牛排馆。说起农场主，其实是一个德国后裔，早年跟随者父亲来到美国德州。被德州这片神奇的土地所吸引的他，决定留下来，把这里变成了他的家。刚开始经营牛排馆的时候，店里只有50个座位，几十年过去了，座位的数量翻了好几倍，门口的队伍却依然每天都排的很长。农场主说，他的美国梦算是实现了。

This ranch is really something that the owner can be proud of. However, the steakhouse is the only one thing that makes the owner feel proud. The owner is actually a descendant of a German family. Followed his dad came to the US many years ago. Attracted by the land of Texas, he decided to make this place his home. This is how this steakhouse starts.

独特的布局，有趣的景致，自然是这家牛排馆吸引人的地方。然而，作为一家餐厅，食物的口味和质量还是应该排在第一位的。沙漠牛排店最有名的一道牛排大餐就是“牛仔”，足足两磅重的T骨牛排，五分熟，软嫩刚好，配上特色的沙拉，咬到的第一口就会让你感觉不虚此行。

Of course, as a restaurant, the flavor and the quality are all amazing! Their steak is so tender and juicy and fresh. The most famous dish on the menu is called Cowboy, it is a 2 pounds T bone steak. I encourage everyone try this if you have the chance to go there. You will not be regret!

这是我吃货旅途中一次难忘的经历，也是我去过最特别的一家餐厅了。我想，如果有机会，我还会忘记旅途的劳累，再一次奔向沙漠中的牛排馆的！
