不忘初心：写给steemit社区一些朋友的话 Remember Why We Started- Some Words to Share With My Steemit Friends

 　　近来，我们加大了些对steemit中文社区的点赞和鼓励，也确实收到了一些很好的效果，中文社区比先前更加热闹了，我们成立了文学群等团体，每天在群里都有不断新的好的文章出现或被推荐，这是非常棒和令人值得高兴的事情。
  Recently, we have increased the upvotes and promotion of our Steemit Chinese community and received very positive feedback. Our community is more active, we have also formed new groups such as the Chinese Literature Group. There are good articles being published or recommended in this group every day. This is such great news! 

 　　我们对大家的点赞和鼓励，其中有对大家文章内容的认同，也有对作者辛勤付出创作的赞扬，也有鼓励的愿景在里边，综合以上等给大家的点赞，但是我们也留意到了，社区里出现了一些不和谐的声音。有些朋友误认为在steemit上获得收益是很容易的，轻而易举就可以获取到的，抱着这样侥幸和不正确的观念，自然不会再用心去进行创作，而是显得很随意，一篇文章，随便贴几张图，随意写一些文字，就认为可以获得一定的点赞收益，甚至有些人还拿此在一些公开场合炫耀，不但未能体会到点赞者的一片良苦用心，反而作为一种炫耀的资本，这真的是太辜负团队对其的一片善意，更是违背了这一切开始的初衷。
  We upvote certain posts, sometimes it’s because we like the article content, sometimes it’s to acknowledge the author’s effort and show our encouragement, usually it’s a combination of all these reasons. However, I also notice there is some discord in our community. Some people mistakenly believe that Steemit is a “get rich quick” scheme, think they can profit without much hard work. With this attitude and wrong ideas, of course they won’t put in much effort to create a good post, they often just casually write a few words then add some photos and expect to get a lot of upvote rewards. Some of these people even brag about it openly, it seems that they have failed to understand the upvoters good intention and the team’s kindness, it’s also a departure from why we started on Steemit in the first place. 

 　　这是什么行为？侥幸和幻想有可能让你一时获得了点赞，但俗话说的好，路遥知马力日久见人心，时间久了团队的成员自然会发现（事实上我们的团队成员已经有发现了个别人的不合适行为），“你可能在某个时刻欺骗所有的人，也可能在所有的时刻欺骗某些人，但不可能在所有时刻欺骗所有的人。”
  It’s just wishful thinking that you could have a short term gain, as the Chinese proverb says, “As distance tests a horse’s strength, time will reveal a person’s heart.” As time goes by, people will discover your true color. In fact, some of the team members have already noticed the inappropriate behavior within the community.  “You might fool everyone at one time, or fool someone all the time, but you cannot fool everyone all the time.” 

 　　针对以上的情况，我们希望大家能将心思用在务实上，踏踏实实去创作，而不是怀有侥幸和投机心理，那样是愚蠢的，最终害了自己，也影响了那些在steemit上坚持原创并辛苦耕耘的作者们，更是违背了Steemit的精神。
    In view of this situation, we really hope that everyone could focus on doing authentic work, write diligently, rather than trying to be an opportunist, that’s unwise and will eventually backfire. It also affects those who work hard on Steemit to create original content, and it’s against the Steemit spirit.
