Cocktails with Citrus vodkas

Lemon is good any time of the year, and these cocktails are quick, easy, and have only a few ingredients, so you don't work up a sweat putting them together. Add any of these to a backyard bar-b-que and enjoy the breeze!


Cocktails with Citrus vodkas

Citrus Collins

-2 oz. citrus vodka
-1 oz. fresh lemon juice
-1 cherry
-1 orange slice
-lemon lime soda

Combine the citrus vodka and lemon juice in a high ball glass with ice. Top off with lemon lime soda. Garnish with the cherry and orange slice.

Citrus Crantini

-2 oz. citrus vodka
-½ oz. triple sec
-splash of cranberry juice

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Lemon Drop

-2 oz. citrus vodka
-1 oz. triple sec
-squeeze of fresh lemon juice
-lemon wedge

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain into a sugar rimmed cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon wedge, OR serve as a shot, with a sugar coated lemon wedge on the side.

Citrus Star

-2 oz. citrus vodka
-1 oz. melon liqueur
-½ oz. triple sec
-½ oz. sweet and sour mix
-top off with lemonade

Combine all ingredients and blend with crushed ice. Serve in a collins glass.

Citrus Aviator

-2 oz. citrus vodka
-½ oz. maraschino cherry juice
-½ oz. lemon juice

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

New York Lemonade

-2 oz. citrus vodka
-1 oz. Grand Marnier
-2 oz. lemon juice
-1 oz. club soda

Combine all ingredients, stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass rimmed with lemon and sugar.

Pink Lemonade

-1 ½ oz. citrus vodka
-½ oz. raspberry liqueur
-2 oz. sweet and sour mix

Shake and serve on the rocks in a champagne saucer or cocktail glass.

Lemon Meringue

-1 ½ oz. citrus vodka
-¾ oz. limoncello
-½ oz. white creme de cacao

Shake well with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Lemon Twist

-3 oz. citrus vodka
-½ oz. dry vermouth

Shake the vodka and vermouth in a cocktail shaker with cracked ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. To serve, garnish with a lemon twist.

Lemon Twist on Fire

-¾ oz. citrus vodka
-¾ oz. Goldschlager (or cinnamon schnapps)

Pour both ingredients into an old-fashioned glass one-quarter filled with ice cubes. Stir well and serve.

Lemon Summertime

-1 ½ oz citrus vodka
-½ oz lemon lime soda
-3 oz. club soda
-¾ oz. sweet and sour mix
-lemon slice

Combine all ingredients except the lemon slice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into an ice-filled collins glass. Garnish with lemon.
