RE: Recommend us some Good Thailand Food - 10,000 SP Giveaway!

in #coingecko6 years ago

Well @coingecko, I'm not a food's sybarite by any means with my modestly educated palate. I'm basically content with anything that fills my belly when I'm kinda hungry. LoL

But nevertheless, I reckon you can't afford to miss out to taste the careful balancing of sweet, salty, spicy, and sour mix of dishes by which Authentic Thai food relies upon.

So, according my odd tastes in exotic asian food. I'd recommend you try at least some of these:

  • Tom Yum Goong (Spicy Shrimp Soup)
  • Pad thai (Thai-style fried noodles)
  • Yum nua (spicy beef salad)
  • Kai med ma muang (stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts)

The last one is actually my favorite and the Pad thai is basically Thailand's National Dish. So, many variations of this dish will be very easy to find almost everywhere.

Last but not least, I reckon you should also taste a bit of the more 'exotic' food on the streets of Bangkok. To round up your gourmet experiences even further. You and the members of your Team shoudn't miss the opportunity to taste a good portion of fried crickets & grasshoppers accompanied with a big glass of Chai yen, a bottle of Singha beer or if you feel more daredevil also with a good glass of Mekhong Whiskey. Hahahaha

Given my painfully sluggish internet connection, I'm not sure I'll be able to write a well done post illustrated with all the pictures, bells & whistles that the rules of your contest requires to compete for those 400SP Delegation for 1 week. But nevertheless, I hope this comment might be of some usefulness for you and your Team.

Good luck and looking forward to see some pictures & videos of your experiences on SF4 and your gastronomy adventures on the streets of Bangkok.

Cheers!! :)

This! We're definitely gonna try this out!

Perfect! Then you can go to Khaosan Road or even to Yaowarat Road too and ask for your good portions of "Malang Tod" Hahahaha.

Malang Tod

If strolling on Yaowarat Road, suddenly you wanna taste exquisite seafood prepared with a bunch of sea specimens which also looks almost as ugly as its terrestrial counterparts, but which taste yummier, then look and ask for a good ration of crispy Grilled Squid, Cockles & Mussels omelettes. :)
