Color Challenge Monday-Red, and Some Info about my Steemit ID

Good Afternoon Friends

Today I wanted to tie in Monday’s #colorchallenge with some background about me and my Steemit ID, @lakeshorebrewery.

I am an avid Home brewer, and I call my Home brewery “Lakeshore Brewery.” I’ve been brewing for about 12 years, and last year I completed a fairly large homebrewery.

I made this monstrosity!

This is a 60amp, 10,500 watt electric brewery panel that I built entirely by myself. I am not an electrician or electrical engineer, so I had to learn as I went along. Admittedly, the wiring could be cleaner and tidier, but let’s just say that isn’t my strong suit...hahaha

As you can see here, you can manually control the individual outputs, or log in with a computer and run the brewery and processes in automatic mode.

This panel controls two pumps, and two elements that operate a three-vessel system, capable of 22 gallons at a time. If I get a slightly larger boil kettle, I can easily boil 1.5bbl, as I built the panel to be upgradable.

I took home a few ribbons from local brew competitions this fall. Fingers crossed for a few more!
