Green Thursday at "Moss Rock Spring"
Earlier this year in July, my friend @kayla.denise and I took a little hike to a place just right outside of our hometown that we like to call "Moss Rock Spring". It was a sweltering, humid summer day and, thus a short hike from the bottom of the river access up alongside the mossy rocks.
At the present moment, it's a chilly night in Missouri. 23 degrees Fahrenheit and cloudy, and it's making me anxious for the "green" months of the year. But like some people say about Missouri: "If you don't like the weather...just wait a day."
That spring is a beautiful spot!
Thanks @amberyooper! It’s one of my favorite peaceful little places to go and just unwind for a moment :)
I miss all that green stuff!
Meeeeee too! Although, I gotta admit..I was pretty paranoid about snakes. I love being out and about in the summertime but snakes are the only thing that make me cringe out here, haha ;)
Even I get a bit nervous about snakes by the river. With copperheads, water moccasins and rattlesnakes about in the area, I get paranoid too!
