Azure Window (Gozo) - FridayBlue

Das Azure Window auf Gozo war die Touristenattraktion der Insel. Viele kamen nur dafür zu einem Tagesausflug von Malta rüber auf die kleinere Insel. Es diente sogar als Hintergrundkulisse für Game of Thrones. Im januar 2017 konnten wir es uns noch anschauen und am 8. März 2017 stürzte es ins Meer und ist für immer verloren 😢.

The Azure Window was the tourist attraction on Gozo. Many of them made their daystrip from Malta to the smaller island just to see this landmark. It was even shown in the background of some Game of Thrones scenes. We managed to visited the Azure Window in January 2017 - and on March 8th 2017 it crushed down into the ocean and is now gone forever 😢.
