Colorchallenge Thursday Green
Hello community of Steemit, who greets you cordially @yuneitsy, following the dynamics of today in the Colorchallenge, green Thursday, I will share some photos, taken in the garden of my uncle politician, where you can see some vegetables and fruits.
We have the pepper that is a vegetable whose shape, size and color is variable. This can be green (as in the photo) red, yellow, or turning orange. The flavor of this vegetable can be sweet or spicy and can be eaten raw, cooked or roasted. Here in Venezuela is widely used as a side dish in a variety of dishes.
Next we have the sweet pepper that is a type of small green pepper, which turns orange and then red if left for a long time in the bush. This type of sweet pepper is widely used to add flavor to all kinds of stews used in empanadas, hallacas, arepas, is especially used in the known sofritos because it is a special seasoning in the meals of all Venezuelans.
The tomato of mount or patio as we say it here is a fruit of varied size, its greenish color turns red and can be eaten raw or cooked. They are generally used for salads and stews. I can almost assure you that the best stew in the world leaves here!
Parchita is a fruit also known as passion fruit that has an ovoid shape, its green color indicates that even the fruit is not ready to be consumed, for this its skin turns yellow or orange, depending on its maturity and variety. In addition, it is juicy, with a bittersweet flavor and very aromatic. In Venezuela it is very used to make juices, desserts and some mixtures with alcohol that generate the popular mojitos.
