Weekends be like

Waking up in a cold morning due to winter monsoon, hearing the birds singing, breathing fresh air after being exposed in the city in a week, and seeing your Mom in good shape and having to bond with her defines WEEKEND.

We've been warriors and have overcome another week- may it be in the office, business ventures, school, etc. We deserve a tap on the back for a job well done. We may now enjoy sitting in the living room and watch movies or open your laptop/pc and start composing blogs, if you're an introvert like me.

As for me, I am happy to be back home for the weekend. To jumpstart my day, I did my morning jog and walking in our village. While doing this, I took pictures of some flowers from our neighborhood, which caught my attention. Good thing people here are nice and you have the liberty to take pictures of anything you see in their yard (you just have to be careful of their dogs).

Isn't it beautiful even if it is a bit dying already.


This is called sampaguita in our country and if I am not mistaken this is Jasmine in english (though I might be wrong). This brings good smell and is perfect to be planted in your yard-too bad I have colds and can't smell anything, thanks to the weather. :(


Personally, I am not sure if this is a flower. However, according to my friend bixby it is called euphorbia flower.


Here is another rose and I love it.


Here is another beauty which according to bixby is called cosmos.


This is unknown to me and to bixby but is also a beauty.

I had a wonderful walk and exercise seeing those flowers and seeing the happy faces of everyone here in our village. May you also have a meaningful and wonderful weekend ahead.
