Who is the best superhero 3.
I'm really sorry about taking a break a break from the ongoing series, but I felt it was important that those who didn't know about the current Galactus find out A.S.A.P (check previous post), but now its time for us to carry on with number 3 on our list.
Captain America
This is another wonderful example that being a hero isn't all about astronomic or cosmic feats of strength, like cracking planets in half, or tanking nuclear blasts, or traveling faster than light,; buts its more about your heart and what you stand for, Steve Rogers is an inspiration, but not just to those in the marvel universe, but to some of us in the real world. His story is one of overcoming almost impossible odds, and almost all his comics pit him up against super-powered beings, gods, demons, aliens, and monsters, despite him being just a peak human, he never wavers or falters in the face of evil, because that is what he stands for, and that's why he deserves the number 3 spot. Now lets get on to what he can do.
The Super-Soldier Serum that Steve took when he went through the program metabolized and permanently enhanced all of his bodily functions to the peak of human potential. Dr. Reinstein (the inventor of the serum and process) described this potential as being "the next step in human evolution," even though he is completely human, he is still called a "Perfect Man." The secret of the formula was lost when Dr. Erskine's died. And according to Nick Fury's intel (guy with the eyepatch) he's a power level 8.
Artificially Enhanced Physiology: Steve actually has no super power's, even though after taking the serum and going through the process, he was transformed from a frail young man into a "perfect" specimen of human development and conditioning. Steve is as intelligent, strong, fast, agile, and durable as possible for a human being to be without being considered superhuman. He has abilities superior to any Olympic-level athlete to have ever competed. Also, the serum is definite, meaning even if he chose to live an unhealthy lifestyle, none of his powers would weaken.
Peak Human Strength: Steve's physical strength is at the highest limit of human potential, consistently able to sustain lifts of 800 lbs (363 kg). This strength also extends to his legs, enabling him to leap 20 ft (6 m) out in a single jump and 10 ft (3 m) into the air without a running start. He can snap steel handcuffs and chains, throw his shield with enough force to dislodge the turret ring of a tank, and is capable of breaking through wooden walls and steel doors with a single kick.
Peak Human Speed: Steve can move at speeds equal to that of the absolute finest human athlete (even faster than Bolt), capable of running at a sustained 30 mph (48 kph)/(that's the British speed limit for cars BTW) though he has shown capacity to sprint at twice that pace over shorter distances when he needs to.
Peak Human Durability: His bones and muscles are denser and harder and so are amplified to the highest human potential, making him extremely durable. He once landed on a car from over 2000ft,or a high altitude, low open parachute jump from ten miles up, with little to no injury.
Peak Human Agility: His agility is greater than that of an Olympic gold medalist. He can coordinate his body with balance, flexibility, and dexterity. He is quick to block bullets with his shield while falling.
Peak Human Reflexes: Steve's reflexes border on superhuman level. His reaction speed is 20 kph, which makes it possible for him to dodge gunfire, even at point blank range, from multiple shooters simultaneously.
** Peak Human Stamina**: Steve's body eliminates the excessive build-up of fatigue-producing chemicals in his muscles, allowing him great stamina and the ability to hold his breath for a long time. He can exert himself at peak capacity for a hour without any rest and before showing any signs of fatigue.
Accelerated Healing: Rogers' healing speed and efficiency is at the highest limits of human potential, which means he can heal faster than most humans. The white blood cells and super-soldier serum in his body are efficient enough to fight off any microbe, foreign body, and other pathogens from his body, keeping him healthy and immune from all infections, diseases, disorders, etc. Rogers furthermore cannot become intoxicated by alcohol, drugs, or impurities in the air, and is thus immune to terrestrial diseases. He is also immune to hypnosis or gases that could limit his focus, which makes him genetically perfect.
Peak Mental Processing: His mental performance operates in the best manner possible , and able to processes the world in the most advance and efficient manner. He has perfect pattern solving/recognition, limitless information storage/retrieval, perfect perception/observational skills, and logical/philosophical structuring. His mind also processes information quickly, giving him an accelerated learning aptitude. Steve can also quickly analyze multiple, limitless information streams (e.g., threat assessment) and quickly respond to changing tactical situations. He possesses an eidetic memory (he never forgets anything and has perfect instant recall), he can read at superhuman speeds, has perfect deductive/reasoning skills, and can intuitively understand what's going to happen and how to deal with it. This enables him to remember any military tactic and apply it to any situation, making him the best tactician in history.
Peak Human Senses: Steve's senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch are at the highest possible limits of human potential. He once said that he can dodge bullets because he's faster than them.
Advanced Longevity: The serum stops Steve's aging because his cells are perfect. He once spent 12 years in dimension Z, but when he came back to earth the same day, he hadn't aged at all.
For those of us who still want some extra info, I've provided some more panels for you, if you're okay with whats above you can skip the following panels and move to the conclusion.
Now lets get on to who 'Cap' is, the first thing I think anyone should know about Steve is that he never backs down, no matter what, there are so many examples to choose from but I'll give just one.He stood up to frickin Odin (Thor's dad; pretty strong dude he once headbutted Galactus to sleep), I mean Odin could end his life with a thought but that doesn't stop Steve from speaking his mind to him, and for anyone who's gonna say its cause he's a peak human, think again That's Steve when he was just a kid, he had a really rough childhood and enough problems of his own, but he went out of his way to help another child who was in trouble, I think its very obvious that its just who he his, he can't stand by and let injustice or evil carry on, he has to do something about it, and don't get me started on his leadership, he is the shining beacon most of the others look to and rely on, and that is the reason why he's number 3.
As usual comments are appreciated and very much encouraged, (would also like an upvote if possible), Still looking on to you guys for new ideas on posts. Have a great day everyone!
