The people in upper-level leadership positions have seen first hand the immense damage that can be done by extreme left wingers. During the Cultural Revolution [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_Revolution], teachers were sent down to the countryside to shovel pig sh*t or murdered by their students during struggle and criticism sessions. For ten long years (1966-1976), all schools in China were closed. Even parents were occasionally denounced by their own children for wrongthink.
Rest assured, responsible people in China are not ready to repeat that nightmare, and they will not respond well to being bullied by ignorant western SJWs.
