Sounds good! I want to build a viable filmmaking community here on Steem. As far as I'm concerned, in a few years - if Steem is still around - it could be a platform to help artists like us break sustain ourselves.
We're now in the process of doing exactly that - on-boarding through https://steem.film/ . it will be the SMT domain built on Steem and using the token 'film'. Got rights to use '.film' from Motion Picture Registry. Steem membership not deep enough in film people right now so generally - all people interested in or involved in the process of making films. Then members i the community can create sub-groups - think Reddit subgroups. So, hey! Lots of room for everyone.
So funny. I started a hashtag here on Steem #steemfilm! I had no idea you were forming a whole organization at the time. Maybe we should combine forces on the hashtag. You being a literal manifestation of it and it of you. :)
My 13,000 followers on Twitter would die if they saw me tweet again! I'm not on Twitter anymore. But it's a great idea! The hashtag fits right into on-boarding to the community of film people already posting film-related original content and up-voting and curating each others original content now on the platform. Then, when then numbers warrant it, we launch the SMT 'film' token and create a film-related crypto-ecosystem - which could be anytime now. 'steem.film' has been approved by Motion Picture Domain Registry Ltd. So yeah, let's work together. "brian-rhodes@steem.film"
